    When you are out of F-8's you are out of fighters

    What a cool little aircraft, I love RC planes but I haven’t found the one that I want to start with but this is looking like a good starter for me.

      Probably not a great "first airplane".
      You are better served by a slow flying, inherently stable, propeller trainer. Inherently stable trainers don't need controlled at all times. They basically cruise around at half power by themselves.
      Jets and EDFs have a slower response to power and take a little planning. They can also confuse you about what its orientation is in the air.
      I suggest purchasing a pre-owned "Real Flight" brand simulator with controller somewhere like eBay. It will cost you less than $100 and will save you somewhere around $500-$1,000 in crashed airplane parts while learning to fly. You will never become a great RC pilot without a sim to practice on for "free".

    I can’t get my models elevation separate from the ailons. The right and left side do the same thing.

      This aircraft is an elevon set up, the ailerons and elevators are supposed to work together as elevons.

    Can a 12 blade system be installed in this airplane and if so, how?

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  3 роки тому +3

      EDF systems come out pretty easily. There is a hatch on the bottom to get access. You would have to find a 12 blade that fits this motor, or a whole new system. But with small jets like these 64mm, more blades just reduce efficiency. 5 blades makes it perform far better or we'd have offered 12 blade options from the start.

    Hi, can I ask you a question?
    How many years does a 6s battery last? I mean, you will have to replace them after some time. Thank you!

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  3 роки тому +4

      depends on usage and storage. If you properly charge them, discharge them, they can last years. If you abuse them, they can die much earlier. I started working here in 2017 and still use the 6s 5000's I got back then. Haven't noticed any sort of performance woes but I never fly them to LVC and I always storage charge them after I get home from the field.

    Can someone help me? I have this model. I purchased the admiral 1600 30c battery and connected it to the aircraft. However, I have no idea how to connect the power to ailerons and there is also an extra connector with red, white and black wires.

    What's the price for the receiver for the f 8 ??

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  Рік тому

      This plane only requires 4 channels. 4 channel receivers vary in price but are definitely the least expensive receivers on the market. It all depends on what transmitter/protocol you fly with like Spektrum/Futaba/FRSky/JR etc. You want to buy a receiver that works with the transmitter you own.

    This is the worst plane that I have flew. Need more power. The CG is a problem. You cannot flare when landing. Landing gear is high. He falls to the left/right. I really do not recommend.

      Same here mate, have the F-104 and 60% out of times it just flies straight into the ground no matter how hard you throw. Thrust is waaay to low for this thing.
