New Subbie and I have been watching your videos for the past few hours. I just love you! I have just started my locs a little over 2 weeks ago. I had a hard time finding someone who started with their locs either the same length of my hair or even shorter. I’m so glad I came across you. Your 5 month length is about where my length is so this is perfect. I getting ready to do my first watch the way you showed in your other video. Wish me luck. ❤

Lol I’m obsessed with blogs about locs , and sis it’s so hard to keep my hands out my hair , I have noticed my locs stands up when I sweat ; I can be cleaning the house it’s standing & hair is growing out of a couple of locs. I think this is what ppl call “The ugly stage” I don’t see it that way , my hair is beautiful either way. 😊 With that being said thank u for sharing . 👋🏾Namaste

I'll be at 6 months in a couple weeks! I work out consistently and put a doo rag on to tie my locs down while I work out. My roots are not loc'ing quite yet.
Now that you that about the salt from your sweat I 100% think that’s why my hair is loc’ing fast. I workout almost everyday and I wear a scarf when I do and I sweat A LOT. I thought I was just feeling myself too hard because I’m only 3 months in but I really think it might be the sweat.
I’m going to be 5months loc’s in exactly 2 weeks and I’ve been experiencing the same locing at the root of the locs on the perimeter of my hairline at the front!😭
Im.almost 3 years in my journey. While your that early in your journey you need to get your retwist to train your hair. After about a yearaybe not so often
Yes, I definitely agree with you! The hair has to be trained for retwist. I’m just skipping this month just to see how my hair reacts to it 🙇🏽♀️ thanks for the advice.
