Thanks I really appreciate it 🙏 . And if there were two words that could sum up or describe the channel so far I really think “CHUNKY BRO” would be them 🤘
I love your videos and teaching. I fish Lake Hemet often. I realize you are selling info and products but you should have mentioned that you were fishing that morning right after a 4000lb stocking from Lassen. You were probably within 100 yards from the boat ramp where the fish were stocked. The shoreline campsites in that area were closed to shore fisherman to give the fish time to spread out. I am very glad that you practice responsible catch and release but you give a false impression of what fisherman can expect at the lake.
Great vid as always man. 😁👍 Gotta say, I can only IMAGINE how much one of those kayaks with the motor goes for. 😱 Keep the vidz comin my friend. Peace ✌😎
With the yellow and white mini jigs, should the hook come out through the white part, or through the yellow part? Does it matter? Same question for El Diablo... should the hook come out through the black part or through the red part? My guess is that the hook should come out through the lighter of the two colors, but can you clarify? Thanks.
The short answer is its up to you. I dont rig them any certain way that has a color on a specific side. I dont think it makes a difference but some of my colleagues do think it makes a difference. The jig darts around when your working it back in the water so much I really don’t think the fish can really tell which side of the jig is which.
Its always different every day at every lake. It just depends on where the fish are and at what depths you get your bites. On this day I wasn’t letting it sink most of the time. Id start my retrieve almost as soon as it hit the water. Anywhere i start fishing I just experiment with the drop until I get bit if that makes sense
Sick kayak! I was about to ask for a walk around of your kayak set up, good to hear it's already in mind. How do u transport and launch your kayak? I started off kayak fishing with a light 52 lbs kayak carrying it around, thought I was strong enough for a 100 lbs kayak😅..........boy my back said oh hell nah! Put that ish down😂. Tight lines!
I bought a dual kayak trailer for the new old town and my old native pedal drive. Really for the reasons you just laid out. That old town is heavy and the native is much lighter but i dont want to lift either into my truck bed any longer haha
Congrats on 10K! 💥💥💥💥
Thanks brother. Hope to get out to the water with ya sometime soon 🤘
Nice day at Hemet. Everyone is getting excited for the eastern sierras. Im really looking forward to your video on your kayak set-up.

Another informative vid. Thanks, they keep my fishing jones going! Those kayaks look impressive. Will you still be using your float tube?
Most definitely. I just purchased a Super Fatcat float tube the other day. I really enjoy fishing for trout in a variety of ways
Hey Rob, what day are you going to be at Ernies? I may be up in the area and definitely would try to stop by.
Never mind I didn't see the 4/26 in the video.
No worries see ya there 🤘
