Love this scent. My only complaint, which is small, is the cheap sticker on such a nice bottle. Don't know why they did that. I find on skin the GGA similarities lie close to the skin after 15-20 minutes and sweet spices (I don't know why but I get a cola vibe/Versace oud noir vibe) are what surround you with a smoother leather. I was hoping for a smokier scent but honestly can't complain. I've layered it with my GGA with great results.
Thank you for this awesome review. I put it on my winter list to buy , I adore incense smokey dark scents and sometimes layer it with vanilla to make it a bit sweeter . Im sure this 1 smells impeccable ❤❤❤❤❤
How would this compare to Halfeti …. Love Halfeti my bottle getting low and hoping to replace it with something similar but a little cheaper price increase recently….and it was hella expensive to begin with ……any suggestions…something Churchy ..rich incense spicy with a touch of a well done oud …am looking at some Middle Eastern houses .? Would love to hear Your thoughts?
I have the Oud, Amber, Musk and Rose Malakys. All are great. My least favorite is Rose Malaki, the rest are gorgeous. I need to try this new one Black Incense.
solid SoLiD SOLID. Completely forgot about this one until it popped up on Fbuy. Was going to go for Rose Malaki first (already have Oud and Amber), but I think this one will do nicely. Love this line.
I have been interested on chopard since the formula 1 releases the 1000 racing line that smells like asphalt, oil gasoline. Check those out ...thanks for adding me to the fragrance group Marc...👍
Whats up with the stickers on the Malaki bottles? Seems like an after thought by sticking it in between the grooves on the bottle. At least turn the sticker vertical and fit it in between the grooves. It's so ridiculous, like the Chopard design team forgot there needed to be a sticker on the bottle and then last second they panicked and was like: Just stick it anywhere and the manufacturer was like: *Plop*, right in between the grooves.
I despise Gucci Guilty Absolute, so this one is probably a no go for me. I really like incense in frags too! I have Oud Malaki, and I definitely need to get my hands on Amber! Great first impressions, Marc!

For somebody who hasn't tried anything from the Malaki line, which would you say is the best to start with Marc?

I have the musk. It’s not very thick but has a combo of clean and dirty. I rather enjoy it.

I would simply call this, Darth Vader funeral pyre. The dark side of the force never smelled so good.
