Please continue to give us the Swedish pronunciation! Oden’s Eye is a Swedish brand, so they intentionally use a lot of Swedish names, though I realize there are also other cultures represented. I’m of Norwegian heritage, so hearing you say things in your native tongue reminds me of family (they’re so close sounding!). Plus, you’re teaching many of us the proper way to say things that don’t have an Americanized version (can’t speak for other countries). Thank you for sharing your language!!
Angie, I highly recommend when swatching multichromes to film a portion of the swatches in a dark room holding your arm still and use the flashlight feature on your phone and move the flashlight across your arm it will showcase the shifty nature of these shadows to the maximum. Learns this from simply nailogical who is obsessed with holographic nail polish and that’s what she would use to bring out the full range of the rainbow in the holographic polish.
Idk I could see the shifts perfectly and I appreciated knowing what the shifts look like in brighter light as I don't wear my multi chromes out at night with a flashlight shining on my eyes 🤷🏼♀️ no disrespect but Angie knows what she's doing and I personally appreciate this way better, IMHO 🤷🏼♀️💯
Those are actually pretty fair pricing for singles and multichromes, and I'm excited for the empty palette option. With my current makeup collection it makes much more sense for me to pick up individual shades instead of a full palette that will be redundant to my other shadows.
How are indie singles not popular? The only popular single shadows are from indie brands. Nobody talks about single MAC shadows, everyone is in love with Clionadh or JD Glow

Yay for another Angie bonus video! I'm here for the sparkle party!! Also, please please continue to say the Oden's Eye product names how they are pronounced in Swedish. As an American who only knows 1 language, I genuinely want to know these things. Not just for makeup. If I ever travel someone where English is not that native tongue, I try to make an effort to learn the very basic words in their language while I'm there.
I really hope they expand this with shades from their palettes and mattes, their matte formula is fantastic and id definitely want to build a basics palettes for everyday
Some of these shadows are so special and unique! I want them all but it’s way too expensive. I might price out my favorites and decide if it will be worth it for me! Odens eye should really repackage the Christmas palettes and offer them again at some point when they are able. They were too much of a big hit to ignore such large amounts of people who keep asking for them. Ignoring popular demand is never a good strategy for a brand.

Maybe it's a good chance fore those who missed them out or liked just 1 or 2 shades (not enough to purchase the whole palette) to get 'em. They're beautiful but I never go for them because of the price. If you want even a 12 pan palette of singles, you're paying the price of 2 regular palettes.

They have said something. Oden's eye said from the start that the palettes were very limited stock. There would be the general sale (which sold out) and one single restock (which also sold out). They said the restock would be the last one they would be able to produce. They made this statement in October then confirmed it when the restock sold out in November. There are two statements still up on the brands Instagram. The brand probably does not have the resource or the capital to do another restock.

It’s a bummer for sure, it wouldn’t take anything away from those of us who got them to make more, but I understand their position for sure and I bet they’re probably (almost?) as frustrated because they could have benefitted more and made their customers so happy. These are pretty but this release will be a skip for me. I have several ready made shifty shimmer pallettes and these don't really add much to my collection. Also I don't have over 100+ to spend on single shadows at the moment. However can't wait for what else Oden's Eye will come out with in 2023.
Kevin is my dad’s name and, occasionally, I have met a few women with the name Kevin as well. We are Irish ☘️, but my very common surname probably gives that away. LOL. One of my favorite things about Nikki Tutorials videos is the Dutch word-of-the-day. She teaches us a word in Dutch in the video and I just adore it. I’m not suggesting that you do that in your videos for Swedish if you don’t want to, but it is a fun thing to hear and watch. I would not be opposed to hearing you pronounce words for Oden’s Eye in Swedish more commonly if you want to do that. For example, Kevin, in Irish, is spelled Caoimhín. There is actually no letter K or V in the Irish alphabet. Because the the letter C already achieves that “kuh” sound and mh together achieve the “Vee” sounds - additional letters for K and V are just redundant.

I like the concept of this but I feel like whatever Oden's Eye released next they were set up for failure. There are so many people upset about the Christmas palettes even thought the brand was completely transparent that they were limited edition with extremely limited quantities. Majority of the comments on any of their social media posts are essentially "don't release anything if it's not the Christmas palettes". I hope this launch does well for them but I feel like the brand is going to be feeling negative repercussions for those palettes being popular for a long time.
I say this with peace and love to all, I really wish consumers would just be more reasonable. The transparency was there from the very beginning they were very clear about how limited it was.. sometimes people don’t get what they want. It is bordering on badgering the brand, like I totally understand being disappointed, but I can’t imagine seeing a brand make an excited post about a new release and people being like “NO! WE WANT THESE OTHER PALETTES !!” and thinking that isn’t super rude and hurtful. The brand is comprised of actual human beings. I really hope people let it go. Everything Oden’s Eye releases is gorgeous.. there will be more beautiful palettes and collections to come as well. There are already people that have made stunning dupes of singles too. If they for some reason did decide to bring it back it feels like it wouldn’t be until next fall anyway, at the very least people could let it go until we get closer to then.
Okay, you told us not to overbuy but that last arm of green and brown and silver/purple is my fave group… tbh I can’t afford any of them (though I wish I had any multichrome singles in my collection) but Green > Sarita as Orange > Angie (hey y’all, remember taking the SATs and learning the A is to B as C is to D questions? Lol) One day, maybe.
Ingrid is almost a dead on dupe for the Elf multichrome in the Merry Christmas palette. I love this! Still early in the video and hoping more of the multi's from previous palettes show up 🤞🏻

Very pretty but a skip for me, the appeal for odens eye is the color stories and packaging and these single shadows are just not fulfilling what I want and I have all these colors throughout my collection regardless.
I love that Oden's eye is doing their own thing with the weave press pattern, and a high quality plastic palette instead of paper. Thanks for spoiling us on the first day of 2023!
I am really disappointed they've been shifting away from cardboard packaging. I was hoping the last blush and highlight release would be the last time they do that.
I like the shades of Oden's Eye shimmers... but not the fact that in my palettes I eventually have to use a stiff brush bc of hard pan. I prefer to use finger application. I have enough shimmers, so don't need these singles. Esp bc OE has a min ~$50 for free shipping. Singles might be a nice add on to an order in the future with other products tho.

I mostly wear lighter shimmers but I always love how saturated and shifty the black based multichrome shadows are.

I thought the super special thing might coincide with what Oden's eye was teasing. These are so beautiful. Oden's eye kills it with a sparkle. It's going to be hard to choose and not go full Pokémon 😂😂🙈🙈
These are pretty but this release will be a skip for me. I have several ready made shifty shimmer pallettes and these don't really add much to my collection. Also I don't have over 100+ to spend on single shadows at the moment. However can't wait for what else Oden's Eye will come out with in 2023.
Kevin is my dad’s name and, occasionally, I have met a few women with the name Kevin as well. We are Irish ☘️, but my very common surname probably gives that away. LOL. One of my favorite things about Nikki Tutorials videos is the Dutch word-of-the-day. She teaches us a word in Dutch in the video and I just adore it. I’m not suggesting that you do that in your videos for Swedish if you don’t want to, but it is a fun thing to hear and watch. I would not be opposed to hearing you pronounce words for Oden’s Eye in Swedish more commonly if you want to do that. For example, Kevin, in Irish, is spelled Caoimhín. There is actually no letter K or V in the Irish alphabet. Because the the letter C already achieves that “kuh” sound and mh together achieve the “Vee” sounds - additional letters for K and V are just redundant.
The last one, “Luke” is a perfect dupe for the similar VR special shade in the Pat McGrath Moonlight Seduction palette

I was waiting for this video since Angie teased it and been checking my sub all day because I just KNEW it was this!! I had a feeling it was going to be singles and it had me a little nervous because I feel down the rabbit hole of single a few years back and honestly they were just wasted in my collection. HOWEVER!!!! WOW! Wow wow WOOOOOW!!! that true red Leon 😍😍😵😵I will 100% be picking these up honestly this last year Oden’s Eye have just continued to top their own releases I can not wait to see what they do next each time!!!

I like the concept of this but I feel like whatever Oden's Eye released next they were set up for failure. There are so many people upset about the Christmas palettes even thought the brand was completely transparent that they were limited edition with extremely limited quantities. Majority of the comments on any of their social media posts are essentially "don't release anything if it's not the Christmas palettes". I hope this launch does well for them but I feel like the brand is going to be feeling negative repercussions for those palettes being popular for a long time.
I say this with peace and love to all, I really wish consumers would just be more reasonable. The transparency was there from the very beginning they were very clear about how limited it was.. sometimes people don’t get what they want. It is bordering on badgering the brand, like I totally understand being disappointed, but I can’t imagine seeing a brand make an excited post about a new release and people being like “NO! WE WANT THESE OTHER PALETTES !!” and thinking that isn’t super rude and hurtful. The brand is comprised of actual human beings. I really hope people let it go. Everything Oden’s Eye releases is gorgeous.. there will be more beautiful palettes and collections to come as well. There are already people that have made stunning dupes of singles too. If they for some reason did decide to bring it back it feels like it wouldn’t be until next fall anyway, at the very least people could let it go until we get closer to then.
Okay, you told us not to overbuy but that last arm of green and brown and silver/purple is my fave group… tbh I can’t afford any of them (though I wish I had any multichrome singles in my collection) but Green > Sarita as Orange > Angie (hey y’all, remember taking the SATs and learning the A is to B as C is to D questions? Lol)

Very pretty but a skip for me, the appeal for odens eye is the color stories and packaging and these single shadows are just not fulfilling what I want and I have all these colors throughout my collection regardless.

I like the shades of Oden's Eye shimmers... but not the fact that in my palettes I eventually have to use a stiff brush bc of hard pan. I prefer to use finger application.
I have enough shimmers, so don't need these singles. Esp bc OE has a min ~$50 for free shipping. Singles might be a nice add on to an order in the future with other products tho.
