Well in the video there were comedians/actors Lasse Brandeby as his persona "kurt olsson" and Thomas von Brömsnen amongst others, why Afzelius did this we don´t know, maybe to distance himself from the "cheesy" text and the fact it was a cover. But yeah, the song is not comedic.
