Taiji - Japan, Jan. 14, 2021: A pod of striped dolphins was driven into the cove. The pod went into a panic, with several individuals crashing into rocks and getting entangled in nets. The water turned bright red, as they bled from injuries. As documented countless time before, this footage reinforces prolonged suffering, and incredibly inhumane aspects of this hunt.
After the hunters were able to wrestle the dolphins under the tarps, the entire pod was slaughtered. Don’t let this horrific event be forgotten. Contact authorities in the captivity industry and in the Japanese government and urge them to put an end.
