I love you so much. I think I’ll be in the minority here, but I just started a medication for severe anxiety due to ptsd from 30 years as a paramedic answering emergency calls. I’ve spent the last 6 months focusing on wellness, yoga, meditation, gardening… I just couldn’t get out from under the heaviness. Feeling hopeless scared me and I had to do something. I pray they help and I pray I can get a hold of my grief and fear and get off meds asap. There are people who feel so bad and hopeless… there is a place for meds and they can save people from suicide. I love you and watch you for comfort all the time. Just offering a perspective ❤️ blessings
I can so sympathise with you and no one can fully understand another's problems or in deed make a blanket statement that drugs are no good. Of course the absolute aim is to be drug free but sometimes they are needed to get you to that place where you can fully help yourself in a more holistic way.I speak from experience myself.
I too very much enjoy your videos and have been a subscriber for a long time and will remain so but felt I must come and offer an alternative perspective as well. Things are never that black and white xx🥰

I appreciate Collette's perspective and she is entitled to her own values and beliefs. We are all free to speak our own truths.
However, I also agree regarding medication being a life-saver in many situations and conditions.
I agree absolutely 100% with people benefitting from medications for anxiety and depression, absolutely necessary sometimes (from personal experience too).
But I also believe we need more green spaces and more encouragement, time, opportunity and education to be in nature in all its wondrous and healing forms.
I agree that medication can help alongside holistic/complimentary therapies and also it can be possible to replace some (but not all, medications) with natural practices and experiences.
I also agree many doctors are legalised drug pushers 🤣🤣🤣 and it is "criminal" behaviour under the guise of legality.
I have had so many prescriptions tossed at me like confetti and I can categorically say that overall, it did me more harm than good.
However, contradicting myself as I often do, there was ONE occasion when it SAVED MY LIFE and I will be forever grateful for that. This is attached to a long story, but there was a 2nd occasion where it almost TOOK MY LIFE so there you go, a balanced contradiction 🤣🤣🤣. Because contradictions abound in us all, if we are honest, and contradictions in beliefs and values can be caused when we have had many life experiences, in my opinion.

I had the single mastectomy and can’t have a reconstruction. I wish there were styles where I could find something to wear. I got pretty chopped up. After the chemo I was bald and it’s growing back. I like the shorter gray look. Patsys so cute, nature is so blessed. Your videos are so beautiful and inspiring.💙💙💙

Am I the only one who some days doesn't feel like talking at all, today I took the dog to the local park, and avoided a good friend whom I spotted in the distance, because I was enjoying the peace and the birds and just didn't feel like talking to anyone, I am ashamed of doing it and I really like this person but couldn't help myself, I just wanted to be with my own thoughts and nature, so we ( me and my dog ) ducked behind trees , I do hope they didn't see me, else I'll have some explaining to do, I am on my own quite a lot but I am never lonely, and I just love peace and quiet, is it wrong not to want other people around, loved the vlog Collette xxx ps I'm a Capricorn, say no more
Never feel bad about wanting to be alone with your thoughts. So many people can’t do that and create chaos.
Full moon 29° Capricorn on 25th. The combination of planets is powerful. 15th/16th seems to be a significant for something (possibly skyward) to happen.
Working outside in my garden fuels my soil. I love nature.

so true. My ma was on about 18 pills a day, she was a slave to her meds. started with high blood pressure, then she needed a water pill for that, the she need heart meds because the water pill was putting a strain on her heart, and on and on. I refuse. I am 60 and take no pharmaceuticals only vitamins and herbs.
Oh, how I've come to miss my secret garden. My mother had one, and I got mine overa period of the 16 years before I had to leave it all behind for others I hope to love and enjoy adding to.

Collette you will not regret going gray. I'm 76 and let my hair go gray four years ago. Two years ago I had lung cancer surgery. Never smoked. About a month later I decided to put my hair back blonde. I was feeling so down from the cancer surgery which was a success but a real shock. I had the blonde on my head about five minutes and my scalp began to burn horribly. I jumped in the shower and washed it out. That was it for me. I knew my body was telling me something. I now embrace and love my gray hair. You will also. Blessings to you. 🌻💙

Thank you. It was such a shock because I never thought about cancer. Everyone in my family dies from heart ailments. I am blessed that it was found early.

I love your channel! Your garden is beautiful and inspires me to continue with my garden. We must be women warriors against the drug companies that have taken over. I refuse to take one pharmaceutical and when I lived in Ireland last year I was so devastated by the number of people on pharmaceuticals. Their mental health was at stake! I had to come back to Vermont. Look forward to more of your posts!❤

I enjoy using my mother's and grandmother's tea cups/saucers; and setting a lovely table. Yes, it takes a bit of time, but there is seating in 3 different places outside. The birds seem to enjoy my company as I do theirs. I appreciate your reminding us of the bounties in nature!

Collette, I'm 78 years old and my hair has been gray/white for almost 20yrs. I love my gray & I've had many complaints about it from women & men about how beautiful it's turned out. i wear it in a ponytail like the native that I am for 20 years. I even managed to get some of my female friends to let their hair go gray or Siler streaks. There's nothing more beautiful than becoming a crone with gray hair. Goddess Bless you & Patsy.😘🥰💖

Hello Colette, it's looking good, indeed it is .,I'm on my second batch of micro greens I'm going to try growing baby beetroots in same way as my local shop no longer sells raw beetroot,
I recently bought myself a new garden set, metal in orange/ terracotta colour., called sunset. My secret area of my garden has evolved over a few years the planting grows high enough to conceal it through the summer months I have planted a fernery close to its entrance , I am in gratitude for the Universal life force energy and Goddess Gaia for all that is. 💚🌹

Hi hope you have a glorious weekend ,I've been working on my garden which isn't acreage...but trying to make it mine moved here it was a waste land now I've added a bunch of plants and 3 tree...I'm 72 may not see them grow but it's peaceful ...I will show you the before and finished photos soon...I love your Inspiration...hugs to you and patsy.

I think the secret garden is a fine spot for reading a book accompanied by a cup of tea and perhaps a piece of cake. And Patsy would be snuggled up against your feet enjoying the warmth of the sun. And on very, very sunny days, an umbrella would be nice. Also, maybe a bird feeder at one end as bird watching is a fine way to pass the time. A butterfly box amongst the flowers.... oh, the possibilities are endless. I even imagine a fairy might watch you from amongst the flowers to observe who it is that created this little oasis where fairies might come out at night and dance in the moonlight. OK, my imagination is on overdrive right now!
