Max start he is bigger and switchable from 2-3 to help bron at wing lauri will give size and replace dlo flr spacing. Drummond will solve "some" of lakers rebounding issues

Every time AD playing the 4 or 5 comes up, I think about the obvious problem that I haven't heard anyone mention. People try to blame AD's shooting, but when he get consistent perimeter looks within the offense he makes a higher percentage. (Stats back this up.) He's rarely gotten those looks while playing the 5 and isn't in a rhythm. But the issue is this > The Lakers can't let AD play the 4 because LeBron can no longer defend the SF position. Before you talk smack about Reeves, look into the stats, Donavan Mitchell and Murray, are not better. Look at shot attempts, both Murray and Mitchell shoot the ball twice as much as Reeves. Every time AD playing the 4 or 5 comes up, I think about the obvious problem that I haven't heard anyone mention. People try to blame AD's shooting, but when he get consistent perimeter looks within the offense he makes a higher percentage. (Stats back this up.) He's rarely gotten those looks while playing the 5 and isn't in a rhythm. But the issue is this > The Lakers can't let AD play the 4 because LeBron can no longer defend the SF position. If AD's the 4, is LeBron going to guard a center? That defeats the purpose of playing 2 bigs. So, as much as I want AD to play his natural position (PF), I understand not doing it right now. BUT, can we PLEASE stop blaming AD for that?

The thing is. If you miss Reddick as a coach. You probably miss the only coach that's possibly a genius and very possibly the brightest coach in this era. JJ is not like Magic, Nash, Ham who barely know how to draw Xs and Os. He's more like Kerr, Spolstera he's mind in Xs and Os is sharp and sound and the best I've seen.
What we don't know is if he can manage players egos like Phil and Pop, how good can he counter other team's plays? How does he use substitutions and timeouts? That's the gamble you're willing to make because he's got a high IQ, there's a higher chance that he makes good decisions than Ham's of the world.
When talking about AD, he's for sure going to use him as the main focal point, him not choosing AD as his best defensive guy is not an indication that he's going to abandon him, who else is the best defensive guy in Lakers anyways.

Hiring JJ means Jeanie and Rob were caught off guard by AD being opposed to Ham returning and they see the coaching pool as full of high-risk candidates. Hiring JJ is no more or less risky than hiring any of the other bad coaching candidates currently on the market. The difference is, with the hatred Lakers fans have for LeBron, Jeanie and Rob know that when this hire goes wrong, fans will blame LeBron instead of them. Guaranteed in less than 3 years the Lakers will have to hire another head coach and even though LeBron will be retired at that time Lakers fans will still blame him for Jeanie's and Rob's incompetence.

Before you talk smack about Reeves, look into the stats, Donavan Mitchell and Murray, are not better. Look at shot attempts, both Murray and Mitchell shoot the ball twice as much as Reeves. Reeves has better shooting percentage than most players. He is also the fourth option on the Lakers. AD, Lebron Dlo, then Reeves.
