    When I try to have quiet time, horrible thoughts and destructive thoughts and negative thoughts flood my mind, so I always have to have music or sermons, or some thing going!!

      What a wonderful idea! Our quiet time is often when the devil likes to distract us and tempt us, but that is why we should fill our minds with the Word and things that are good!
      "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things." - Philippians 4:8

      You are not alone Lisa ❤️ We need to try just 5 minutes at a time. Pick a short scripture to memorize for that time and it will help. "Cast your cares upon the Lord for he cares for you." I've struggled with anxiety and panic attacks for years and put off that quiet time. But the more I do it the more I can allow God to control. Anxiety is about control. You can do it!

      Anytime this happens pray that God will bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. When I first got saved I had to pray this for three months and found freedom!
