I am confused. Can't there be discipline without physical abuse? This is just concerning. I am all for discipline but teaching us to make our kids "bend over our knee" and hit them with a wooden spoon and not even your own hand. Please explain how the Lord would want this for our children. This interpretation of scripture is outdated.

Jesus as our Sabbath rest, revealing how a relationship with Christ frees humans from the works of the law and allows a person to rest in the work of Christ to forgive sin. Ultimately, those who believe in Jesus will spend eternity in a "Sabbath rest" with Him Hebrews 3 and 4

Amy... thank you for your teaching, for saying things that are NOT popular or even accepted by people with a worldview, and sadly are often rejected by the church community as well. We are going against the flow when we follow the Biblical principals of womanhood, and we should not be surprised if we are dismissed, disliked, misunderstood, canceled, persecuted etc... Jesus warned us this would be what we can expect when we follow Him and the narrow path. Thank you for being a strong, biblical voice to women! ^__^

The Hebrew word for “holy” is kodesh. It comes from the root word “Kadash”. This root word, in simpler terms, means to be set apart for a specific purpose.

Confession is speaking the truth to God and others, repenting is hearing Gods truth and being transformed by it. Sin is separating from God, repentance is being reconciled to God or being returned to right relationship with the God who adores you. Thank you for really digging in and teaching from the word of God!

Thank you for always putting Jesus first and the Word! What a blessing to have such sound teaching! "Athey Women" has been a source of strength for my daily walk with the Lord. “Shame as the warning” is a wonderful perspective. Our society believes feeling shame is toxic, when in fact the opposite.

Thank you Amy for unpacking God’s Word for us so wonderfully ! To help us see better and now wanting to putting it into practice : to pray, to intercede with fasting, to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus … Praying Psalm 25:22 “Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.” ‭‭
