I love the FD and the FD1, you should try the stock C-line FD1 it's noticeably more stable than the Royal Rage 2 is so I'd assume it's also more stable than the Sky Walker. It handles a forehand a lot better than the Royal Rage 2 (at least for me)
Explorer. Similar numbers but available in like 10 different plastics, lol. I have 4: Recycled, Hybrid, Gold X and Opto X listed slightly understable to really overstable.
I haven't thrown an Instinct, but I love the C-Line FD2. I basically wanted an Eagle with more stability out of it than you can find in usual runs and that's exactly how it turned out. It holds up to forehand torque better than most, if not all of the other straight 7 speeds I have tried.
In my experience the Royal Rage II Instincts were more understable than the stock runs. I don't know how the skywalker compares to stock fd1s but it looks like it flies exactly like the stock instinct. IMO the instinct has a slightly slimmer nose than the fd1, so i prefer the handfeel of the instinct.
From the side view at 41 seconds, the Instinct seems to have a slightly lower wing and PLH. Haven't watched the whole video left but I suspect it's a bit more understable?
Yes it is because right now my 7 speeds go a beat up s line FD then the ella Hansen swirly s line FD then a forged instinct and a royal rage two....I guess I need this because I do have a c line FD1 but I don't really use it
