I needed this!!! 👏👏👏
This talk was presented to me today, and as it always is with the Lord’s timing, it was divine. I so needed this message. Thank you!
Great talk.
I was feeling tension in my home. It's just me and my wife. We have been struggling with finances, work and just feeling happy overall. I heard this talk at a perfect time for me. It inspired me to go be productive and do things that would help us. Thank you to this elder for his spirit inspired words and encouragement.
He was my stake president in Houston Texas

Thank you. I really needed to hear this again.
Such an inspiring talk!!! What an important message for all of us.
Are you SERIOUS!? He sounds more like a masochist...
“Endure it well.” “The struggle .... strengthens.” We are kidding ourselves and harming the next generation if we don’t teach them: Life is hard.
Ive been really worried about my school work lately, and I've allowed fear to strain my faith as I have been trying to get through school. This talk aided me in alleviating those fears and replacing them with faith in the Saviour and of God. I'm grateful this brother shared the testimony that he has and allowed me the chance to lean on his words as I steady myself on the iron rod once more. Thank you.
I really needed this talk today! Thank you.
Or killing a man was so traumatic that he felt, even 40 years later, to explain how and why that went down. That according to jewish law at that time he had legal right after labans actions. And or the other was uneventful for him, and would be better heard from Ishmael or his families point of view. I don't know if the Lord WANTED to make things more difficult for him. Killing a man is plenty. Not knowing how to convince a man of known unbelief, plenty. Ishmael, man of belief, easier. I struggle with that line if thinking in our culture, that God wanted him to struggle. Is there need to create hardship in the vacuum of space? No. It just is already. As you go on to say. He wants us to prosper and overcome these hardships, they don't end.
