Up Helly Aa (Viking Fire Festival) 2017

I was lucky enough to experience the Up Helly Aa Viking fire festival in Lerwick, Shetland - this is a short video of what I saw.
The festival involves a procession of up to a thousand guizers formed into squads who march through the town or village in a variety of themed costumes.
It was very, very windy and wet, but that didn't dampen the spirits, or the torches. As you'll see.
