    Mod is incredible, but the amount of rng is certainly concerning. There need to be some amount of control on type of mox you can draw, at least something like act 3 where you can choose how much of each is in the deck. Mox card was designed with available hammer so i think it definitely should be here.

      I was never a fan of the magic deck, despite loving both fights against Magnificus. I feel like the magic deck should automatically give you a random card from your deck, and a random mox when you draw each turn to balance it out a bit and make it less RNG dependent. Or just add interesting synergy with the other decks.

      yeah mag's game is very rng based. It kinda plays into the story as well each scrybe has their own idea of how the game should be. Leshy thinks that the story is the most important part, that's why he's doing alot of roleplaying. P03 things the gameplay is the most important and stated so multiple times. I'm not sure about grim, but mag thinks that the presentation is the most important that's why in the end where you play his version everything is overly "epic" and just over the top

    After all, this mod is really cool. All bosses was from Magnificus' tower. Their mechanics are appropriate to their characters. This mode is really fun. Of course, having an ace up your sleeve, like thas fecundity sygil.
    Btw, second character was actually _throwing_ her spears at you. Remember the second Magnificus' pupil? And all the spears around her? She "threw" spears at your characters, some spears stayed on your side (if they killed your creatures). And then you "threw" them back into her creatures and they stayed on her side. And so on and so forth. That is her mechanic, as I understand it.

    I still believe that the Hammer Mod shouldn't be able to destroy units that can't be Sacrificed. You wouldn't be able to cheese fights like the Prospector, and you'd still be able to use it for its intended purpose of removing a unit to make a space on the board to play another card, and/or to make Bones in an emergency.
    And if it comes to pass that it's still too strong with only that change, they could also make it to where you can only destroy 1 card per turn to prevent unintended mechanics like Infinite Free Fecundity Bones.
    I don't know how hard it would be to implement those changes into the mod, as I'm not a mod maker, but I actually impose these restrictions on myself when playing to try to prevent the game from breaking too much.
    You are free to do as you please while playing, as long as you're having fun, I'm fine with whatever strategy you decide to use. I just hope that in the future, we get some mods that try to make the game "fairer" for both the player AND Leshy. I most enjoy the runs where you have to think critically about your plays and strategy, rather than ones that are too easy (Fecundity or Ant Squirrels) or too difficult (mods with majorly underpowered cards.)
    EDIT: I actually like to see someone try to improve Leshy's "AI" and give him more options to make fighting him more challenging. It would be cool to see Leshy use something like the Hammer to remove his own units to prevent himself from getting cheesed, for example a Squirrel or Ringworm that is preventing him from playing another card.

      I think the magic deck should have a unique "hammer" than can only destroy moxes but nothing else, like a "mox destroyer" thing. I also think it should be a mix between the mox mechanics in act 3 and act 2. Like some cards could benefict from having certain moxes in the board (increase their power and health, or gain a special sigil just like the cell cards in act 3 that gain a sigil when they are in a circuit) and also the board should have 5 lanes instead of 4.

    I think the one where your orange mox on the right doesnt die is because the elk fawn on the third column attacked the orange mox on the same column and it exploded the mage first, thus the right mox does not have the exploding property anymore.

    BTW there is a bodies of Magnificus and PO3 behind the boxes. You can see them when you complete chapter 1 (take the film roll and beat the Leshy)

    When I played an earlier version of this mod, the Magnificus fight was still the same as Leshy, and I ran out of cards to draw, killed the moon, had no cards on the board, and all I had in my hand was a Hover Mage that needed a Sapphire Mox to play it, resulting in me softlocking the game

    The final boss is literally an amazing final boss (an actual difficult fight).. Hats off to the mod creator in creating an amazing mod

    If they did make a game mode for Magnificus I could see his board style being two row'd, much like of P03 expands the board with extra spaces. For Magnuficus' mox to not be so obstructive having a backline specifically for mox placement would be best, balancing it by including the backline damage the player is already capable of dealing to the opponent.

    0:30 the badness of Gemfrogs design makes it even better, it looks like someone gave themselves 10 minutes to make a frog in ms paint

    I would have made it like p03 mox selecting and after every boss or in a special event you can buff your moxes with stuff like selecting wich mod you want or making all moxes double, so you can replace the totems with something more... thematic

    I think you should stop worrying about being too powerful. Sometimes the game will give you op stuff and that's part of the fun. You should create content you like to make and you are also showing the mod creators if they watch what might need nerfed or buffed

    Using the hammer is fine as i think the magnificus cards, at least in act 2 were somewhat designed around using the hammer (though probably not as much as grimoras) to get rid of mox cards once you don't need them anymore or to activate those on death effects of certain mox cards. So if you didn't use it you'd be kinda handicapping yourself at times.

    Mox cards you get through fecundity should have the mox sigil just like the first mox you draw so they fulfill the resource reqs. Mox cards should give no blood. It'd be nice if there was a way to decide what kind of mox you get. Either it has to be something you decide per turn or something you have to select outside of battles.
    Also, the second boss, and the last phase of the last boss both need to be tweaked. Those spears need to have flyblock or something. And the last phase of the last boss needs to be a bit harder and/or take a bit longer to beat.

    I think what happened in the final boss fight was that it was replacing your entire deck with the same cards with a random sigil instead of just randomizing the sigils themselves. As these are new cards any modifications you made would be lost, thus why you never got your 10/10 and why the wiz lost its flame boost, they're not the same cards you used for the rest of the run.
    Which is honestly disappointing, but probably an issue with how act one is coded if I had to guess.

    Part of me would love to see if they were to do an expansion on Inscryption (if they consider it) to do something for the other two. Maybe like a prequel to where we explore the other two and how the game itself got buried and discovered later.
    Until that happens, it’s great to see modders come in to make a possible “what if”

    to me fecundity isnt the problem, it the fusion of fecundity and the moded hamer. one or the other are ok and fair but combine both and you have an easy win

      Its a 'i cant lose' button. But its 1) a showcase of an unbalanced mod where 2) he is entirely dependent of RNG so i dont care that he has a win button

    Drawing the mox you need is the biggest downfall for Magic cards that makes it the weakest, they should let you have an option to enable or disable what moxes your mox can turn into during the run so you can focus on specific mox cards like act 2 to get more consistency. Maybe like 3 buttons you can enable and reenable that shows up when you look at your current deck
    About the hammer thing, infinite bones under certain circumstances may feel cheaty, but its just the same as having infinite sacrifices so its not really that much of a problem

      Maybe instead of getting colored moxes from your deck you only get blank moxes, and you determine what color it will be while it's in your hand, and once you play it that color is locked in for that particular card for the rest of the game.

      Ideally, you'd be able to decide what kind of mox you want each turn.
      And yes, infinite bones with hammer is really no more cheaty than the unmodded base game's own mechanics. In the base game, getting corpse eater sigil on a one blood cost card, whether through sacrifice or totems, results in the exact same thing. Limitless bones in a single turn. Whether it's corpse eater on 1blood cards, or hammer with fecundity on mox cards, it makes no difference. It's all equally legitimate and an intentional part of the game.

    The third boss IS a Lonely Mage! It is his (Magnificus') third pupil. So the "STIMULATION" line is appropriate.

    This was awesome to watch! Really love this mod. I know RNG is frustrating with the moxes, but that's kind of the whole point of Magnificus' cards. Like, if everything was the same mox or if you could choose which mox you pick up, then everything just becomes a free unit, pretty much. The only cards that then become at all challenging to play are the ones that require multiple moxes, but the base deck has very few of those. Mostly because that would be incredibly hard with the moxes being random. So I think it's worth playing a run without a totem that helps as much as the fecundity did and then see how difficult it really is with the RNG. It'll be tough for sure, but the challenge could be more fun than frustrating.

      I think choosing what mox you pick up could be something good, if made well. Maybe something like "you can choose mox colour every 3rd turn" or "you can reroll one mox in your hand once per turn". Just to avoid being locked out of play for a significant amount of time.

    You can change every pack mage sigil meaning you will have mixed 5 different sigils if you went with that

    SPOILERS FOR BASE GAME
    I’m kind of sad that they didn’t use the battle system from the finale of the game where you’re both on the towers summoning the creatures below you. It would limit the deck drastically, but it’s legitimately the most fun I had with the magic cards in the entire game. I wasn’t a fan of the magic deck, but both battles against Magnificus were incredibly fun.

    It stinks that there's so much softlock potential, but that's something you can't really avoid in the mage deck without deckbuilding and the hammer like in act 2. Fecundity and the hammer actually made this run watchable for me, since otherwise it'd just be drawing cards and being completely unable to play them.

    I am a fan of underpowered runs, as it feels great to see someone win against all odds and I'd love to see a "downgraded sigils" mod.
    (for example, if fecundity gave you an unmodified copy of the played card).
    However, the mox drawing is busted rn. It was fun watching Sifd's usually op runs challenged by unbalanced game mechanics. I'd love to see this mod again.

    Now this mod actually deserves to call itself the Magnificus mod, lol. It's surprising how it managed to take that gimmick and make something actually unique with it, it's just such a pity that the Magnificus gamemode is fundamentally flawed, getting random moxes is terrible, but being able to choose them would be OP..
    Nevertheless, props to the creators on the mod, even if the regular bosses can lead to softlocks (which I hope gets patched lol), really cool mod.
    Also hammer OP, but kinda needed for this build of the mod, mostly for softlocks. Though smacking the boulders and trees is outright cheating and you won't convince me otherwise, lol.

    I have watched almost all of your Inscryption Act I videos and I absolutely love them. I will say that I do not enjoy overpowered sigils very much, but the use of them is not enough to make me click off of the video (for this mod, I absolutely understood why you used fecundity, though). Your commentary is what makes the videos, as I enjoy hearing your views about the cards and your analyses on which cards you want to pick. Keep making good content!

    i feel like if Fecundity worked as intended here then it would definitely be way too powerful (which applies to fecundity on squirrels too), but copied cards not getting the mox sigil is a good compromise (even if it is unintended)
    i kinda like the idea of Mox Totems being gimped since it encourages using other totems, which could have more interesting synergies given how mox cards work (if the dev goes out of their way to make totems more usable since obviously most tribes dont appear very much here)

      I think I saw a very early endless mod for Grimora with a very unoriginal name, Grimora's Mod, but, as I said, it's very early, I didn't test it by myself but the page I found it on said it was full of bugs and the text is just the one on the finale on repeat

    Really thought it was cool, but maybe find a way to be able to pick whitch mox you can grab, instead of it being random, over all! I really liked it, 8/10 for me

    Amazing vid, can't wait for the Grimora mod. I really don't mind the vacundity on the moxes. Its nice to see an overpowered run. Would love go see another run of this mod without vacundity. Eitherway the more videos i get to enjoy the better 😈

    i'm pretty sure it's pronounced Magni-Ficus (like a ficus {'fai-kus'}), cuz he's a tree... a magnificent ficus tree.
    btw, i don't think anyone else has made that connection. most other people i've watched play the game prounounce his name like "magnificous."

    Hammer in the way you use it ,seems a touch op ,maybe once per turn on things you placed (So if a tree or such is on one of your tile ,you can't break it)

    maybe to reduce the RNG of battle starts, make the very first mox choosable, but ONLY that mox.
    That way players can try to focus a gem type on the start of battle depending on the cards in their hand, or their own card preferences.
    However, if the card is played and dies, then you're going to have to roll the dice to get the same mox back.

    I would love to see an infinite mode, or at least a longer tabletop mode that lets you fight against all the scribes and use all the mechanics.
    I find the game to be too short. The mechanics never expanded on and only 2 characters get a true spotlight on them. Plus some strategies are too powerful and can only be nerfed if you couldn't just get the cards you wanted.

    I think you need to play this mod again...
    Preferably a run that doesn't use the Fecundity Sigil on your Mox. I think that kind of undermined the point of it... and forced you to equip the hammer.

    I think his Phase three for the final boss. Was summon your board against you. But also changes their sigils randomly?? Like how it did in the first phase.

    i fucking lovw when sifd makes plays he thinks are fun, or that he wants to do. fuck yeah dude, chase that fire, abuse the fucundity totem, pick up the ouroboros. i like to see the occasional overpowered meme card, but besides that, im here for sifd's epic playstyle, not to see someone torture themselves with excessive arbitrary restraints taking the fun out of an amazing game like this.

    I also wanna see you play without picking safe cards , u have to pick the most outrageous sigil and cards and start game with 4 gold pelts to make it tougher on you

    having fecundity on the mox was vaguely annoying, but not because it’s cheaty or whatever. it was more so because it was repetitive as all hell. whenever he gets a bone unit i’m just aw shit here we go again

    Personally i think that the hammer should not be used with singular unless the creator recommends it, since it kinda goes against some of the innate balancing around certain cards taking space in the board (or infinite bone comboes such as the totem + hammer you got in the video)
