Maintenance. Keeping the track and overhead wire clean, oling mechanical contact points and greasing the gears, and also cleaning the motor plates and brushes frequently. These old motors can run very well with proper maintenance. Thank you for watching!
@ ah, I notice my z1000 sometimes spits out voltage wise at points. Don’t notice it with the mpc controllers that much, but I like the modern circuit protection
I have a Z-4000 and it occasionally does that too. I neglected to mention, using multiple feeder wires is a good way to make old motors run consistently. Does your layout have more than 1 feeder?@@JerryTheTankYank1776
Absolutely love it! And the sparks!!!
That turned out so well! I like your choice of music with”Electric Avenue”.👍🏻
Great job man, working smooth.
Make several shorts, it would be a hit.
@@joeystrains.9316you're right, and I could link this video to those shorts 🤔 maybe get some more viewers that way. Have a good week!
WOW. GREAT VIDEO!!!
Your layout is making me jealous
Love it.
love the generator loads! very clever
The transformer and nuclear flask loads are some of my favorites that I've made, maybe I'll make a wire spool car next.
How do you make those vintage engines run so smoothly at that speed?
