- Bowser's Fury is too easy so today I made it harder. This is another Mario 3D World type challenge video. I had to complete the Bowser's Fury mode in Super Mario 3D World with a bunch of restrictions. Some of them were no running, no power ups, no killing or damaging enemies.

Did you know that there is actually a way to beat the game with 40 cat shines? After the 20 catshine bowser battle you collect every cat shine while fury bowser is awake to damage him, than he will have less than 50% hp in the 40 catshine battle which will allow you to kill him in that battle. I honestly thought this was the climax the video was leading to. Though this glitch was discovered only a week ago as far as I know

Or you could've just only collected shines at night to lower Bowser to half health, then kill him at 40 shines.
The one thing I hate about bowsers fury and 3D world is that they got rid of my favourite mario move: the triple jump

I won't be able to properly watch the video atm as at the time I'm typing this out, I'm heading out to work, but one more thing I always do to add extra challenge is to make Bowser appear with those 47 shines, and collect as many as possible BEFORE beating the game. As Bowser is in the field, he will constantly be there to give you a fight. Since there would be no way to fight back, and as I'm seeing in the thumbnail, you cannot kill enemies either, having to avoid things becomes a challenge of high precision. I haven't seen the video yet, and probably won't be able to knowing my memory for trying to remember to watch some things, but this is at least an idea I wanna give if it hasn't been given already. If it's already in the rules, I'll probably just delete this comment. Lol

You could've completed this challenge much easier at 40-45 Cat Shines by damaging bowser by the Cat Shines to half HP and then using the Giga Bell. This results in fighting the final boss immediatly.
Something that will make this challenge a bit less insane I think plessie can damage shadow luigi

I just figured out how to defeat fury shadows without loosing the challenge:
1. Bring a cat to the shadow
2. Put it down near the shadow
3. Lure the shadow into the cat
4. Repeat twice
Now I wanna see how many cat shines are possible to get with this ruleset
With no power ups seems unfair.
You can get to mount magmeow early but it’s nearly impossible
Did you know you can throw cats at shadow Luigi to damage him, I don’t think it is against the rules of the run and would have made the shadow Luigi shines possible. Also that was some amazing initiative with the other shines and I’m amazed you managed this.👍🏻
I always hated bowser cause he's annoying and disrupts gameplay"cough cough" cats" cough cough" traveling safely" but after this he's actually pretty helpful

Wow both this challenge run and the Mario 3D World run had 3 Shines/stars left to get on/in a island/Level the he thought were Impossible at first but were possible and the he was able to beat the final flight and beat the game ,wow

So for fury Luigi I don’t know if you allow throw shells at him and the cats can damage him too. Also plessie can damage him too and you can jump on him.

you can kill the fury shadow by riding plessie and technically plessie is killing them and not mario.
Couldn’t you technically use the little cats to kill the enemies because the cats kill them not you. U can also use gem to collect cat shards

Hey, the challenge is much easier than you think. If you ground-pound at the wall the skipskate slope blue coins are at with bowser jr, you make him ground-pound.
Luigi can be killed by throwing cats at him. This unlocks mount magmeow, giving you more opportunities
he tried doing the ground pound thing I saw it, but you're correct about shadow luigi
I don't think I have ever seen a more complicated challenge in a Mario game tbh

You can beat the game with 40 shines how? At 25 shines I keeped get the rest when bowser was awake and at 40 shines somehow I was in the final fight
