I have had Nars Luster for years and it is truly a hidden gem. Every time I wear this blush I get a comment that I look glowing or pretty and my makeup is exactly what I wear on a regular basis except for the addition of Luster. Love It !!!!

Omggg! I love you. You’re so goofy. Loved the ending.. wish I can shake my head and then magically get my hurrr done.
Genuinely meant as constructive criticism, the 'arty' cut aways were a bit distracting and annoying. They didn't really add anything. They were too fuzzy and fleeting to really give any perspective on how your skin looked from different angles and didn't really flow into the rest of the footage for me. Appreciate that you are trying to evolve your visual content and keep it fresh for us (I'm on OG subscriber. I remember when you were sub 50k and had brown hair lol. Loved you then. Love you now.) but your content (quality of your tutorial and reviews, recommendations, variety of videos etc) is solid and engaging enough already.

MsTeacake1982 - I agree. I really love Alana’s content but I found the cutaways a bit disorienting. I think if they were a little bit longer and filmed at a lower frame rate, they’d be fine!
To me she’s “breaking the fourth wall,” less about makeup more about showing a lil behind the scenes/parts of her set up. She’s on vacation but still managing to create her usual background and vibe. I found it really fresh and creative.
I thought they were a bit weird. There's a camera right in front of her. Why does she need a second camera that she's not looking at, that moves around? It's like someone is stalking her and she's about to be murdered.
MsTeacake1982 agreed. I appreciated the thought behind it but paired with the static close up shot it didn’t match...if the entire video was handheld then it would’ve looked great! I think she shouldn’t be discouraged to try more organic, artsy makeup vids though!

I notoced you were doing that and it seemed to me like you were getting more coverage than I usualy was, so I gave it a try and I did get more coverage. Until now I'd just put on the back of my hand and build more layers from there, but I never got that great of coverage. Thank you

You will LOVE Barcelona! I was there last summer and it was one of the most amazing cities I have ever been too. You HAVE TO go to Park Guell when you are there. It is a beautiful park with lots of mosaic structures and at the top there is an amazing view of the whole city.

If you’re still planning your Spain trip, I recently went to Madrid for a few nights and thought the whole place was beautiful, can’t recommend it enough! I even prefer it to Barcelona ☺️
You MUST go to San Sebastián in Spain. It’s on the northern shore pretty close to the France border and it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Was just there last week - the perfect combo of beach, city, and forestry hills. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

We did a roadtrip in the northern part of spain last year. Great experience! San Sebastian, Madrid (Bardenas reales area was so cool, a desert kind of in europe) and Picos de Europa (mountain area) was my favorite parts! The northern part is not what you hear most things about but its beautyful there. Sorry for my tourist english, i'm Danish 😂😂
