@@louekusHi Lou. My question is, does Phos-feed replace NP-BACTO-BALANCE? What about Reef Actif? All these products look great but I don’t want to misuse any of them. Thanks.
@@Maximka1100 Each of those products does a different job. So they can all be used together if you would like. The NP-BACTo Balance does carbon dosing, while maintaining your current phosphate and Nitrate concentraitons. The Reef Actif is a slightly idfferent form of carbon dosing that is very gentle and slow actiing. Those two products work very well in conjunction with each other. The Phos-Feed, on the other hand, adds undisolved particulate phosphate, to supply the PO4 your corals need in the most adsorbable form for them, while not raising the phosphate in your water column.
@@louekus Lou thanks for explanation about each product. So from here, in my believe, either only the Reef actif or the Phos-feed needed to keep good phosphates available for corals, not both of these products, correct? Also ,beside these 3 phosphate management products, will be important to dose with AFR ? Thanks.
I’d say the same ie. high phosphate particulate matter. TM product has better upside because the phosphate does not dissolve in water column or absorb in rocks.
Lou from Tropic Marin is a good guy he talked with me on the phone for 30 min helping me with a issue I was having with my tank.
Interesting 👍👍
Great interview and insight! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the info on phos Lue and we had a good talk at macna I’m the guy with the 800 gallon
Lou is underrated. Tropic Marin is the best salt out there with little guessing as to your results. Try it out.
Great video! Let us know your findings on the product. I can’t wait for it to freight in.
Is it available in the USA?
When’s the product come out so I can buy?
These products will probably be coming to the US and be available some time in the first quarter of 2023.
@@louekus you’re killing me Lou 😂. I had my card ready and couldn’t find it US. Can’t wait to try it. I enjoy your videos/explanations.
So is it ok to have zero phosphate reading in water column if I use phosfeed since it goes right to the corals?
Sure wish this was available in the US
It will be available in the US very soon.

Can i use phosStart and PhosFeed together or just use phos start then transition to phosFeed? Help....
There is no need for considering this. The PHOS-Start is already in the PHOS-Feed.
Not sure this not end in the water column same food, it is what happens with other coral foods same reef roids... 🤔

Seems a little niche
I’d have to beg to differ because of the claimed phosphate absorption mechanism of coral polyp.
