Nic Cage’s penchant for over exaggerated reactions and expressions actually made his portrayal of Dracula in this movie so much more appealing. Because while Dracula can be soft spoken and calm while putting on his gentleman-like façade, he’s a monster (the king of monsters you could say, Godzilla is the king of kaijus), and when he unleashes the beast, he would be savage and expressive as he goes about his gruesome feast.

dracul - Inherited nominative/accusative singular of drac - Inherited from Latin dracō (“dragon”), from Ancient Greek δράκων (drákōn). Word has changed meaning from “dragon”
Vlad Tepes/Cepesh (Cepkiy/tenacious, Ceplyat/cling) received the name Dracul from his father, who was a member of the Order of Dracula - at that time denoting George the Victorious, earlier in religion this symbol belonged to the Archangel Gabriel, and at the beginning of religious mythology to Yeshua. The very word Dragon / Dracul - literally means: carrier, carrier, one who carries, carries (wave - from this and transfer: snake) - figuratively means: descendant, heir. See bas-relief in the Temple of Peace, Rome, 1st century AD. - Earth sitting on a dragon; from left to right: Moon (Swan, Southern Cross - Constellation Cygnus) - Venus (on her knees Artemis, addresses (appeals) to her, a round object in her hands, Apollo on the side; and further, Earth on the dragon).

Lol 😂 unfortunately our actual world just isn’t nearly as exciting as fictional worlds are. Could you imagine if it was though? If people had superpowers and could use magic and all that the world would get destroyed in like less than a year lol

Bozworth (Brian Thompson) did that in Fright Night Part 2, but no superpowers were gained.
