Phantasmagoria
By Jeremy Bell
Item: 00-47293
Series: Alfred Concert Band
Format: Conductor Score & Parts
Grade: 4
Phantasmagoria is described as "a shifting series of phantasms, illusions, or deceptive appearances, as in a dream or as created by the imagination." In this fascinating piece, key centers shift just like the phantasms created by the projections of a magic lantern, creating a sense of wonder with concealed, dark undertones.

Song feels great for Halloween
The feel, the feel of this piece is astounding. The climatic parts are beautiful.
spoopy
Real 😢
The climax is really good. Really.
OMG!! So beautiful and mysterious sounding!! I love this!!
Pretty cool! We'll be performing this in about a week!
I really love this song and I really want to play it
Very cool piece
Listening to this while practicing
idk if its just me, but this piece kinda reminds of the "SAW" theme
It has a Guillermo Del Toro feel to it.
cool piece, but I felt like it was the same thing over and over again. Nothing ever materialized out of the music.
definitely, also i didn't really feel that it was a grade four? good song, but probably a grade three
@@meganholmes4996 you should see some of the parts. Like that high g on trombone (3 ledger lines above the staff.) Or that alto sax part way above the staff.
@@Trainlover-pk9hn I mean, that g on trombone isn't very hard. Quietly I guess, but well within the range of most high schoolers.
@@camdynclarke But, Grade 3 id like 8th grade music. And when i was in 8th grade, no high g. It is still.probably an easier grade 4 though.
But isn’t that kind of the point? This song is based off of dreams and such and possibly some ghostly aspects to it, it’s supposed to have a calm flow not much of an impact or climax. I see where you’re coming from for sure but I think the composer purposefully wanted it to be like that
