I destroyed a hub with the hammer and screwdriver technique, so I second your advice about buying the 16 dollar tool. I just had to drop $200 on a used wheel to fix my screw up.
I have an CR 500 of `85 and I got a new bearing set. When I removed the old ones there were only 2 bearings in the hub. With the revision set there are 3 bearings , just as on the exploded views on internet. But 3 bearings wont fit in the hub? Can someone help me ?
The 3rd is a smaller bearing on the left side. If there isnt a place for it or check if you just didnt see it there. Otherwise could be different wheel than original
@@Maicowerk it is an original hub KS7, but I see where you point jn your manual at 1 min 19 sec there is a wheel hub of an 84, 85 and it has only 1 bearing on the sprocket side. So it seems ok?
Had this playing in the background while I used a screwdriver and hammer. I’m changing this bearing today damnit.

Hello I need for 250 with aluminium wheels thank you
Funny how nowadays bikes only have spacers and a circle clip and are good to go. wonder why they used that type of retainer
They do that so they can nip you a tool from the dealership. Its all about da money.
Depends on the bike, all Honda race bikes have them for some reason. It’s really annoying
Buy the tool. You're going to tear the shit out of your rim and threads using a punch to try to spin it off.
thanks meen one normal videos
