GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!
If I had to pick one of these. I would probably go with the green over the gun metal gray.
Still working on the mix guys i know the video left much to be desired but this was a trial run and i do plan on revisiting this in the near future and have many other experiments planned like this also so stay tuned!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for your research bro, this stuff is really amazing information for at home diyers
You can send it to me lol I don’t have nothing I live in a apartment
I like the way you are doing this across several base colors, you get several different results at the same time. Funny how the green made the gold look more gold as if it just make it stand out more.
The red looks great. The green needs more I like the way you are doing everything it's interesting.
Candies should be painted over a gold, or metalic silver.base
Can you do one on just the red Kandy effect just the way but on a hood using the gold as the base? Thanks
I went a bought hvlp paint gun like you said
Does it actually have a candy look
I think it was a little hard to tell from the video but the red does have a nice look to it over the various bases the green however was a complete fail. I plan on doing more revisiting it in a future vid tho to see if I can get better results but there is def not a genuine substitute for a real Kandy concentrate yet. Thanks for watching
For me i liked the red over the primer base.✌️
I wanna see greeen with a lil gold petal
Really like what you do with cheap paint.
I'd use the hole bottle if I had to 2
Definitely need about triple the green pigment but the concept is there
Its. Certainly a learning curve
Very intriguing keep going! Looks great.
Maybe try adding a little metallic into the candy coat. The green needs more pigment for sure. I like the experiment and sharing for us to learn from mistakes/wins. This wasn't necessarily a win, but not a complete fail either. Like you said, more testing is needed. Cool idea though. thinking outside the box.
Sorry bud but your not the first😂😂😂 that’s a old trick that you are just now discovering 😂
Nah it's all in good fun I know everything out there is already been tried by somebody lol not really a good trick to take full scale on a whole car but it was a fun experience thanks for watching
Could you please do a reveiw on the Auto Zone ready to spray paint shop paint? Im wondering if its worth the little money it cost...
I covered it a little in a past video but you are better off getting base coat or fast dry mixed in nason for the same price or less and you would have a lot more choices of color. Check out my rustoleum paint vs automotive paint video if you get a chance.
Just curious how the orange Rustoleum with red pearl clear (on the fender you did a few days ago) looks compared to this red candy?
Maybe it was the lighting, but the fender really looked great! Keep the videos coming and I'll keep watching
Hopefully I’ll have good Out come this time
Yeah man just take your time with it if you have any questions feel free to ask anytime
Not a segola
That red over the gold looks pretty neat 👌
Sour apple green with little pearl and more liquid green
That liquid is nice bc it can't unsuspend it's self like a powder or flake in any way from shape etc

Finally got the green dialed in as well 😎👍
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS where do get the liquid pigment?
amzn.to/3xRd9VG
These are what I used the only issue is there not as saturated even with using the whole bottle as a candy concentrate is if you wanna look into those. Work great for small projects tho
It may just be me, but when you were putting in the green tint, it looked like the bottom of the bottle was a darker green almost like the dye had dropped out of suspension and needed shaken up before use.
The red over gunmetal looks more like the kandy paint jobs I've seen. I kind of like it. I'm wondering if a quart of whatever color base per gallon wouldn't be more cost effective to give a kandy effect than the resin pigment.
Is that the new segola?
Check out this episode we finally nailed the results and yes it took the whole bottle lol

Gold peral
I want green to be the base coat and a lil good peral
What brand is that pearl and is the clear setup u using do it has very good uv protection
share.temu.com/oVeLK4DgZCA
Here's the link to the pearls I used in the rustoleum custom mixed videos so far. High tech 7000 is the clear I'm using for these projects but it's not a good clear with UV protection. I recommend speedokote 2k clear or Nason 2k multi panel clear if your doing a whole car.
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS do.u know if they will do good with the kp pigments and didspade and dip your car pearl setups if I mix them in
Yes it's all Mica powder so should be fine mixing and matching as you want.
Hello, I just found your channel and I am loving your tips with Rust-Oleum because that is what I use a lot. My question is I am just getting started using a gun and I paint sewing machines and so I have a whole lot of shapes and contours that I need to work around. Is there a way that you can show how to adjust your gun so that you can paint a small piece like a sewing machine or a small piece of equipment, which needs to be hit at several different angles. Thank you so much
If your spraying something with a bunch of angles and small curves or just small in general a touch up gun will do the trick nicely. I will be doing a more in depth vid soon all about gun set up but my video on the Vevor gun set might answer some of your questions in the meantime. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!!!!
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS I'll look for that. Thank you.
vroom vroom keep wetting it out
Red tinted really well green you can see in certain angles did pigment powder show can’t really tell cause lack of sunlight
Yea unfortunately the sun wasn't doing many favors the red turned out as it should the green just got lost in the mix even using the whole bottle wasn't enough. I'm gonna do a major spray out with this in a future video to see which colors have potential to work so it's not over yet stay tuned
Interesting. I like the out of the box thinking. Hard to tell what the red lookes like. Might work with a lil more messing around
I think so too! Thanks for watching
thank you lol finally heck will get better mix im learning so ty for the tips
also i share this on Facebook and where ever i hope rest here do to it nice to have creator interact with us and we learn along with you
Thank you I really appreciate it!!!
