One of the illest transition everrrr
BIG: don't tempt ME
Meth: T-H-O-D MANNN (here I am) I'll be damn if this ain't some shit..
Cartoonish is the best way to describe today's rap. Perfect word for it
Method Man is one of the only artist that did callob with both Tupac and Biggie before they died.
Guys from bone thugs also did it
@@Nullnullnix86 only solo artist
Technically Meth and Pac didn’t record the song Got my Mind made Up “ (Great Posse Cut) together. Pac was added to the song and Inspectah Deck was taken out once Pac was bailed out by Suge. That was a Dogg Pound song that became a All Eyez on me Song on his album.
What about Too Short wasn't he with both
Big Daddy Kane, Shyheim, Bone
This is one of my faves from one of my all time favorite albums. I don't think I've seen anyone react to this song yet so I had to click!
Haha appreciate it , hope you enjoyed !
Want to hear a FIRE Biggie cut???? Look up "Niggas bleed"... mind blowing story telling 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Greatest track EVER
You a baby I remember bumping this in the 90s on the way to castle street lol
Great reaction. Just the right amount of listening and analyzing. Rewinding and commentary. Ur good at this. Keep it up. I grew up to these songs. 💪🏾💯
Appreciate the love brother & glad your enjoying !!
VF when this came out I would listen to this 20 times in a row. Trust me this was the Collabo I didn't know I needed back in 94 when "Ready to Die" came out. ------- This collabo was shocking for sure. ------- Especially since Puff Daddy/ P. Diddy doesn't usually let his artist collaborate with artist from other label, that way he can keep all the publishing in-house. ----- THis was the exception of course, since Method Man was the hottest artist since slice bred back in 94'. ------ Then RZA returned the favor for the Method Man adn Mary J Blige song, "Alll I need" (remix), be sure to listen to the remix.
Meth's verse was the Hip Hop Quotable in The Source for that month.
At that time biggies favorite rapper was Method Man they always showed each other respect word.
That’s awesome , didn’t know !
You’re just scratching the surface of NYC rap!
Shaq featuring Biggie "Can't Stop the Rain"
(LA Leakers Ray Vaughn) have your 👂 ears and 🧠 brain ready for a Overload of Bars. Bars after Bars after Bars after Bars. Don't 😴 sleep on reacting to this 📽️ video.. PEACE ✌️.
Now u gotta check out Snoop and ODB - Conditioner
My guy listen to this whole album start to finish then put it up against any of the new shit out
VF you mentioned why beats don't knock as much today as they did back then. ------ See back in the late 80's and early 90's hiphop groups would take an instrumental of the beat an take it to their truck outside the studio and blast it to see if it would bump like crazy. ----- Once it passed that test they knew they could lay the vocals on it. ------ Hip-hop groups like Mobb Deep, Tribe Called Quest, Large Professor and Gangstarr with DJ Premier would use this technique to push bass resoultion in the music mix. ----- The aim was to get maximum thump without distortion. ------ Hip-hop acts pioneered this technique by working with Audio tech like Eddie Sancho. Later Trip Hop and electronic DJ's would copy the techniques to bring that sound to live events.
You got me laughing how you know up on some real rap music and can't listen to the new stuff no more. I'm in my 40s and I understand exactly what your saying but I grew up with all that music but I'm glad you on it. Keep up the reviews and listening to the real rap and not the trash they put out now.
Fun fact, Biggie rewrote his verse after he heard Meth's verse. The original (original biggie verse) of this song you can find it here on UA-cam, though it has poor quality.
I remember when this shit dropped! It was on DJ S and S mixtape! Fond memories of this shit playing, sitting in Baisley Park (Queens), smoking a blunt after coping from Princess Black or Percy! #Memories
Trip down memory lane haha
The beat was sampled from I'm Going Down by Mary J. Bleige ft. Methodman
Fire vid! keep it up
Appreciate the love brother !
Crazy song boy!! Straight 🔥!! Yo GRAND FINALE from the Belly sound track...NAS,METHOD MAN, JA RULE, DMX!! FIRE BRO...Will make a dope ass video!!! Peace
I wont blame you for not knowing this song… you seem like a nice young kid.
Biggie has one of the dopest rap rymes ever... flows just grows through me like trees to branches, cliffs to avalanches, it's the praying mantis, deep, like the mind of farrakahn, a fukin rap phenomenon.... shit blew my mind as a kid🤯
My man, appreciate you gettin to this one!!
Another dope colab is big L and Shyheim - furious anger
And here’s a ghostface one for you that has Rae and cappa - Fish
Meth is the first Artist Biggie featured

Shaq featuring RZA & Method Man - No Hook
shaq seriously did a track with PRIME rza and method man at the height of their powers
Appreciate the suggestion brother , I’ll check em out !!
Nas was supposed to do the Gimmie The Loot remix, but had writers block that night and we never got the Nas and Biggie record
U want a GEM💎. Clipse feat the Lox. I’m not you. Absolutely one of the hardest tracks ever made lyrically and beat. Super slept on. Thank me later.
Appreciate the suggestion brother , I’ll check em out !!
Hell yea bro!!!!!
So fun fact, on an interview method man said it was supposed to spell METHOD right as biggie said “me” method would spell M E and then THOD…but it didn’t line up correctly once they did but they ended up just leaving it in…and it’s like one of my favorite intros going into a verse now
Feeling like ya got ya red & black lumberJak wit ya hat 1 match
"And Justice for All"

I understand the excitement my guy but let the song rock out for a minute then comment. Experience the vibe my dude.
Nah I like my reaction it’s raw and live. Appreciate the feedback though brother !
U should react to LL COOL J - DOIN IT
that’s fire and more 90’s/00’s beat than 80’s
3:38 lmao 😂
Joey badass is a newer younger artist that sticks to the old school formula and still carries the torch of the kind of hip hop you like.
Joey is dope 🔥

Heard of Gang Starr?
Peace. Search for footage or someone talking about Biggie performing this and how Meth entered the stage. My man’s was there…
Mary J. got a joint with Cheeks from lost Boyz with this beat, check that shit out, fuego
Tracey Lee ft. Biggie - Keep Your Hands High.
Classic!!! I think Method Man outshined BIG on the 1st verse, but BIG came harder on the 2nd verse. You should react to Method Man feat. Mobb Deep, Inspectah Deck and Street Life - Play 4 Keeps and Mobb Deep feat. Method Man - Extortion 🔥🔥
Appreciate the suggestion brother , I’ll check em out !!
Meth said he borrowed Nas's flow on this one
Gotta check out Biggie w Eminem - Dead Wrong
If you are gonna start listening to some west coast make sure you throw some Jacka in there. Bay area legend. Rip jacka
Not all newer artist are wack, especially coming outta NYC.
In fact, you wanna hear a dope/seamless back n forth??….check out Nems (Bing Bong/Don’t Ever Disrespect Me dude) feat. Spit Gemz…the name of the joint is called “200” 🔥🔥
No no no don’t get me wrong !! I LOVE a lot of new artists and new rap that’s what I grew up on but I can definitely see the difference between old rap and new rap.
@@VloneFrank no doubt. I guess what I meant to say is, that boom bap sound and type of lyricism is still around. It’s just the industry doesn’t pump it anymore. Nowadays you gotta search for the good stuff…like treasure hunting. There’s a bunch of independent/underground artists that been rockin’ and keeping the culture alive. It’s true, at one point, we were all in tuned to the illest shit to hit the streets…pre-internet via mixtapes, word of mouth, and even radio…but it seems the “agenda” shifted and music started glorifying the drug addict and not the drug dealer, so to speak. As I said before, it’s a beautiful thing to see a young man like yourself appreciate the “Golden Era” and even doper that there’s still spitters out there who preserve it. Salute
@@ctparry3 damn “glorying the drug addict instead of the drug dealer” that’s facts. Didn’t even see it like that. Appreciate the love also brother !
Method Man, Redman, and 2Pac. (Wu kills it as usual. Verbal Intercourse Nas, Ghostface, Rae…….Mobb Deep ft Ghostface, Raekwon - Eye for an Eye. Canibus - 100 bars w/lyrics
Gang Starr ft INS of the Wu, Above the Clouds
Appreciate the suggestion brother , I’ll definitely check it out !!
Bone thugs n harmony are the only group to do a tracks with easy e (kuv of money) 2pac (Thug luv) Biggie (notorious thugz)

React to notorious thugs ft bone thugs n harmony
Already did brother
@@VloneFrank oh my bad 😅
Busta Rhymes the ugliest ft Biggie. Biggie's flow on that one is just stupid nice
Meth kills Biggy in this one
Fun fact, Meth wrote ALLOT for Biggie on his first album "ready to die" and Eminem references it in his song "lock it up" feat. Anderson Paak (def worth a listen btw) METHOD MAN IS A LEGEND💯
Whoa… what fun fact is this??? Biggie is lyrically known and respected. Not calling you a liar or anything but you need to back this statement up with facts/references.
The new cats can do this but they don’t! Styles changed and I think they got lazy! It’s sad that Barz don’t seem important to them anymore! If you didn’t have barz then you weren’t shit!
100% agree.
Bro does good reactions but am i the only one want to see fewer pauses. I feel like the reactor interrupts the flow stoppin every other word. Pause right at the hook and let the song flow.
Appreciate the feedback bro but it’s just how I react , if I catch a bar or a dope all line ima pause and speak on it. It’s how I break down music even when I’m in the car and catch a hard line. I can’t help it💯
@@VloneFrank .... lolll ... cool big homie. I ain't going no where cus i love ur passion fa the music from way back.. keep it goin cus I'm a new subscriber💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
