I love how much more impactful (pun intended) the knockback is in bl3 than in bl2. I mean, in bl2 you could point-blank someone in the face wit ha quad and they'd merely stumble, where in bl3, even a single-barreled Jakobs is enough to throw Badasses around with the right shots.
I _finally_ got around to watching this! I like it, but what it told me above all is that I would like to see a bit more gameplay in your daily videos i.e. have them be a bit longer. I'm usually not able to watch you on Twitch (I'm in the wrong time zone), and I rarely have the patience to watch a full stream replay, but I would like to see more of your reactions to the crazy things happening in the game. That's even more interesting than seeing the loot you pick up.
This was a great playthrough to watch and even more fun to do, I am still messing around with my Jakobs Zane build. I finally picked up a Clairvoyant which is such a fun gun but I don't think I ever used one before.
You know, it's not that BL2 completely lacked wacky ragdolls, but that and the physics kills like knocking barrels into enemies are two really underrated aspects of BL3 that I think show that a lot of care and attention did go into the game (in departments other than the writing department.) It is so much fun to knock tink grenades back into enemies, and although at first I thought the physics in the game were really awkwardly floaty and stiff, I've come around on them quite a bit. It's not the biggest thing in the game, it only provides the occasional pleasant surprise and little dopamine boost, but the fact that it's there really does raise my enjoyment of the game noticeably.

The 1st game of the franchise I ever played was Wonderlands. I just started Borderlands 3 and now I see why everyone complains about the low Legendary drops and loot luck in Wonderlands 😂. I am glad I went this route... cus I feel super spoiled now. I get that extra dopamine hit when I see that orange beam, like a starving squirrel that found a yard with 5 bird feeders. Its gonna be rough when I go back to Wonderlands to try a different class combo playthrough and have to go back to getting excited about purple again. Can't believe it took me this long to get into Lands games cus its been some of the most fun I have had with videogames since like... RDR2 maybe. But then thats a totally different sort of fun, its not the absurdly intense mayhem and sensory overload like BL is. Its like tripping at a casino with all the sounds and lights and weird people... but with violence instead of money. 😂😂😂😂
Not even watching the video yet im gonna say yes. Exploring the area at the start can sometimes let you find a jakobs pistol becore Claptrap gives you the first gun and the existence of the Maggie and Hellwalker are enough to assure me of the possibility. I had a level 35 Hellwalker that was still 1-2 shotting enemies at level 50. The only reason i stopped using it was cause i found a butcher at lvl51
This was a a great recap. That playthrough was so good. Jakobs is definitely top 3 manufacturers in Bl3 for me(along with Dahl and Vladof) and Zane just obliterates everything with them. Do you think Jakobs is Zane's strongest allegiance?
It’s the truth, I’ve been playing BL3 this it came out, been trying to find someone that plays it’s with good content. Also, jakobs Zane wants me to try this build for myself now lol
When I was doing my Moze Playthrough I messed around and put on Four Clairvoyance’s with her Bottomless mag tree and I’d say it was a lot of fun. It felt like infinite ammo because my ammo regenerated from her perk tree and from the jakobs critical hits, I found it to be extra effective with the Gatling Gun and Mutant Assault Rifles. With that being said, I’m curious on how a Jakobs SMG would perform, or a Dahl Shotgun?
I love the good ol' double barrel break action shotties in BL games. They gotta be at least 10 gauge, maybe 8 by look of the barrel. Pretty absurd and quite satisfying. You ever play Rage 2? Its like Borderlands for people who don't like RPG gear mechanics and farming. Just mindless, twitchy violence for violence's sake. One of each gun with a ton of upgrade combos instead of all the loot and charachter building. That game has the most satisfying shotgun combat I ever played. Its made by 'id' and you can tell. 😂 I might be excommunicated from the gaming community for this but.. its better than Doom. I still like the Borderlands games way better though. I enjoy having to think. 😂

Best ways to get rid of issues on 3: Turn off: Volumetric Fog, Motion Blur, all social settings like EchoCast and Social Alert frequency. Play on DX12 and know that it will “learn” your shaders for a bit (and will stutter while doing it) but once it’s learned them all it will run much smoother. DX11 is simpler and less time required to learn shader but generally lower performance
Hmmmm, i think whenever you play a Zane run. The game literally give s you all the luck it could give, while if its the others like Fl4k or Moze. The game shits on your luck. Idk, i just got a feeling that your copy of BL3 treats Zane as the favorite child

there should be set bonuses, so if you had all the call weapons equipped for example it would get a certain bonus.

BL3 is by far the best game in the franchise now. They’ve ironed out most of the issues except for old gen consoles (from what I’ve been told).
