압록강 행진곡 (March Across the Yalu River) - Korean Liberation Army Song

The song was written in 1942, during WW2. Obviously, this march across the Yalu River and Paektu Mountain never came to fruition but there were skirmishes before between the Japanese Military and the Korean Liberation Army along the Marchuria border. Like the photo in this artwork, from 1920, the battle of Cheongsan-ri, where both sides claimed victory. Ultimately, it's Soviets that ended up crossing the Yalu River and the rest is history..
