We facilitated this film to support a first time filmmaker. It was made by a group of friends who got together to have a fun time paying tribute to Star Trek. It’s not tying to “Push an agenda” on anyone. No one will be more critical of a film than the filmmaker. No one will be more critical of the acting than the actors. My only ask is that you watch it though that lens. PLEASE NOTE Misogynistic, Transphobic, or any other RUDE comments will be deleted.
This is why I watch Star Trek fan films because the people who make these films have a love for it and it shows just like Star Trek continues Star Trek phase 2 Pacific 201 All Star Trek films all awesome Paramount and bad robot have nothing on you😊
All I'm asking for is some civility here for Christ Sake. People complaining that I'm too sensitive don't read the insults and personal attacks on the actors that I regularly have to delete.
Great stuff! It was a very intriguing story by Julie, and starred some of my great friends who all did a wonderful job! Good direction by Tyler, and impeccable camera work by Josh! I can't wait for a sequel! Good job, all!
I always enjoy seeing new films with new characters to get to kno. I hope these actors come back for more as they were really fun to watch and it seemed like they had a good time. Keep it coming guys
Captain, bruh... *Never* use the word "routine". Loved seeing my boys Tyler and Greg, and the lady Mason from "Crisis on Infinite Excaliburs" -- also loved that her character had the same last name as me! I am intrigued by the mystery of the mixed DNA and would love to see a sequel. And hey, it is never a bad thing to help out a friend. We all have to start somewhere.
It wasn't a bad video. Not the best effort from Avalon, but a decent story. Congrats to the filmmaker......I hope they continue to work on their craft.
@@saleendriver Thank you for watching and supporting us. Often times there’s a learning curve for a first time artist. I was one once, so I felt it was important to help them out.
Rick Cole: This is a great Star Trek, super story and super acting, thumbs up and thank you all for having fun and sharing with us fans your story, best part you left an opening to set up another film to follow up this one if you good folks have the chance to do it again, thank you folks so much
Fantastic! Evokes the spirit of Star Trek fan fiction that extends back nearly sixty years. And how did you get such a complex story into such a short script?
A solid and relatively engaging effort. Kudos to the filmmaker with this being their first time. I have to admit I laughed pretty hard when security came into aux control with his phaser held in a semi side grip technique. Overall it was fun. The narrative could use some tinkering but it was fun plot, especially since Gorn are under utilized. It certainly left room open to explore their mindset as to how or why they might do this to a Starfleet officer. It's nice to see people still putting out original content with the actual spirit of Star Trek in mind rather than what we have currently on the live action side of the franchise. Well done to all involved.
excellent production values. amazing sets and CGI, and above all decent lighting! a solid ST fan effort. My only critique was that the commander's uniform seemed poorly fitted to that actress for the first half of the film; it was a bit distracting. In terms of story, it's nice to have a story with no pew-pew. It wasn't a combat story, as so many are. It did (intentionally or unintentionally) point out the actual horror of the transporter, which is that the person going into the beam is not the same person coming out. The Lt. Moore that was re-integrated at the end was not the person who underwent the Gorn transformation. That person was disintegrated, was gone, as evidenced by the line, "This Lt. Moore might not remember anything from that time. The pattern I used to restore her was from when she beamed down from shore leave." Philosophically, this demonstrated what I've always said about the transporter; it's a murder machine. For being a quiet story, it's quite deep in the consequences of ST technology. A superior effort, and thank you!
@@louferrao2044 Your statement is inaccurate. I've allowed plenty of criticisms on my channel to stand. Making ugly statements like "Women should never be in command" or "Ugh! Terrible acting" aren't constructive or helpful to anyone. There's way to offer an opinion in a way that isn't bigoted or hurtful. It's my channel and I reserve the right to moderate it. Saying people have no desire to improve simply because they they don't want to put up with ugly insults is simply wrong.
Great idea. Store your pattern when you are 20... then every 60 years re generate. Sure you loose you memory but it just an idea. Or an automated colony ship with the crew stored in pattern buffers.
I like your other stuff but this one is not your best. I'm sorry but keep doing them bc your videos have been good. Live long and prosper. I would like to see a Horror Star Trek film but that's just me
We helped a first-time filmmaker with their project. We're aware that there is a learning curve for them but wanted to be supportive. I appreciate the kind words about the other projects. We have more of our own films coming.

I really enjoyed this! Can't wait to see what happens next. Hoping for more.
Awesome special effects
Glad you like them!
Now this is Star Trek, it just shows how fans know the franchise, brilliant work !!
So a random crew member call the acting CAPTAIN to complain that their quarters are too cold???....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The sets look great...
Very impressive. You managed a full story in 15 minutes without sacrificing character development. Loved seeing the TOS sets and ship. Great job!
Interesting. Part of it was like in TNG episode of infected officers transforming....

Oh! What a fun film.
Also, I love how in the end we still don't have all the answers and a mystery about a Starfleet officer.
Thank you for the support you always give us Kevin. We appreciate you!

A murder the original & restore a clone wayback machine.
Wonderful!🎉
So, no criticism allowed. It's not very realistic if a group of thespians want to improve.

That’s not what he said at all. Bigotry does not equate to criticism. As Kirk once said, keep your bigotry in your quarters.
