At 26:11 Dr. Mayo speaks of the government of Rome persecuting the early church, I disagree , Christ had said all of the prophets had been killed by Jerusalem and its Jewish leadership, this was said before they killed Him also, at trial Pontias, the Roman leader tried to let Jesus go free.
On the other hand this is what the high priest Caiaphas said of Jesus:

I will agree that God used Rome to totally destroy Jerusalem at the end of the Old Covenant because they had been repeatedly disobedient.
Revelation & Daniel are very straight forward if you have been given INSIGHT !....The Beast is revealed in Daniel 2 & re-emerges in Daniel 7 completely without having twist or turn any facts Biblically or Historically is simply revealed & intermesh with Revelation & ALL other Prophets with nothing out of place! ..you say you don't understand it means you have Little INSIGHT sadly.....Maranatha Shalom...old Messianic Jew.
I'm a Jew born anew since 1982 and I completely agree with you. Jeremiah 31:32-34 is here. Born of the Spirit by faith in Jesus and living in His word, not the world. Rev 13:11-16 & Rev 18 are America, I believe. The head resurrected. Two horns like a lamb are right-wing Christians and Catholics who think they're of God but live in bigotry and idolatry. Compare Exodus & Rev 13;16 & Matt 5:29. The Mark of the Beast is SIN. We must be born again. John 3. What we fill our minds and give our time proves who our God is. It's Jesus or the Beast! The world is the Beast! The Mark is symbolic and spiritual, the Image is real. It's right in front of you. 666=YOU Man's # is 6 (created day 6). GOD’S # is 3, (Trinity). Man making himself God. I'm a Jew born anew since 1982! NOBODY HAS THE REVELATION CORRECT! It's a spiritual book. We must be IN THE SPIRIT to understand. We must be born again. John 3:3. The reason people aren't being born again is because they don’t really REPENT. That means turning from self-centered living to Christ-centered living. Compare Exodus and Rev 13:16 & Matt 5:29. The Mark of the Beast is SIN! It's on us when we're born. We must be born again to wash it off. Faith comes by hearing the word of God! Faith dies by NOT HEARING OR BY NOT OBEYING THE TWO COMMANDS OF GOD IN CHRIST TO HAVE FAITH IN JESUS AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER. 1John3:23. Anti-LGBT and anti-women's rights are lies from hell.
