Here's my hair story, I was born with tufts of raven black hair. When I was 2 it was more of a very dark red. My mum thought I was going to be ginger but then the red grew out and I became a brunette. My hair stayed the same until high school. I went to a private school that was very loose on rules about appearance. I dyed my hair sea green and then decided later I wanted it dip dyed blue. Some money problems occurred and my family couldn't afford to send me to private school so I went to public school. On the first day they turned me away at the door because of my hair colour and told me to come back with my natural colour. I was forced to book an appointment at the hairdressers for a week from then. I missed a week of school and then got my hair dyed black seen as they didn't know my actual natural colour. I went back, they let me go to class and all was fine. That was until my hair started to lose its colour. I decided I wanted to go back to brunette so I continued to grow my natural hair colour back out. School sent me home the day that one teacher noticed I had gone from black to brown. They said they would let me back in when I had my natural colour back. My mum had to explain the whole situation and once again they let me back in after a week. It all went fine. One the final day of school in year 11, I came in with my original sea green and blue hair. The teachers went mad but they couldn't send me home as it was the last day. The night before I had gotten six piercings, three up each ear (those were forbidden by the school too) and I wore my new steampunk style earrings that were massively noticeable. I fucking loved that last day...

I'm about to get all logical over this song XD So I did a little research on this and the statistics I found from 'reliable looking' websites kinda does explain how this guy has came to this conclusion by someone's hair colour 'stating' that one hair colour is more superior than another; even though it's only pigmentation and genetics at the end of the day. Apparently earth's population of natural blondes is roughly 2%, where as brunettes are basically ruling the world with a strong population of roughly 90%. Even a stereotypical blonde can say that those numbers are unfair; the blondes have a very small gene pool to get: symmetrical appearances, appealing personalities, be dispersed around the world, hetero/homo, male/female, 'special skills' to please partners, etc. Where as for the brunette population all the combinations that the blondes have achieved are about 180 times more abundant for them, therefor making them seem like a more appealing hair colour, not to mention them most likely feeling threaten by the stereotypical 'fascination' with blondes, making brunettes needing to feel more competitive. The reason why blondes and even redheads are rarer hair colours is because these genetics can only be unlocked if both parents have these features or carry these features; black and brunette hair is considered more dominant genes, hence they are more common. The same thing goes with eye colour. But interprate the message however you want; personally I love all hair colours, especially darker hair colours, but I guess we all aren't born with we want. I'm thankful that my little sister has a head full of gorgeous chestnut brunette hair for me to admire everyday, making me perfectly happy to be the blondie I naturally am XD

no, I mean black is brunette for whatever reason. if it's dark hair you're technically brunette, or if it's light brown. Brunette covers a wide range for whatever reason, there isn't really another category for black. I've always thought it should be considered separate, but for some reason it's not.
