This is my theory on the matter: Kestral saw the two dragonets, she knew Scarlett would never let her keep them since… well you know, they were *different*. But Kestral couldn’t let go, she loved them both dearly, so once Scarlett ordered their deaths, Kestral devised a plan. She knew taking both hatchlings at the same time would definitely catch the eyes of others, so she would have to take them one at a time. Step one: She’d take the boy with no fire out of the castle first and place him in the surrounding forests where he wouldn’t set anything on fire, and wouldn’t be seen. 2: The girl would need more looking after and would not go well being placed in a quiet flammable forests, she’d need Kestral full concentration to not get burned, and for then both to escape alive. What would happen if Scarlett saw only one of the two though if she *were* to get caught? Kestral would need a fake no-fire Skywing so at least he’d live… probably. 3. Make a believable no-fire Skywing. That was a great plan! And thanks to her thinking ahead of time when she did get caught, she was surprised. Why? Because Scarlett gave her the best option ever! Kill one dragonet, the other and Kestral goes free! Obviously she killed the fake dragonet and flew… only to be pursued and then because the fireproof thing she brought along for Fire got caught in the fall of Fake No-Fire, Kestrel got burned and dropped her. No no no no no! Without a second thought, she flew away mourning the soon to be death of Fire. Once she reached the forest however, she couldn’t find No-Fire. She hadn’t been gone long, what could’ve happened? She already lost one of her dragonets, she’s not about to loose another! What if he toppled into the river though?… with that depressing thought, Kestrel leaped back into the sky and carefully scanned the river along stream, eventually accepting the fact that her plan had failed. An extra on when Sky and Peril realise :D Moon: Sky, these are the rest of our friends. Kinkajou: Hiya! Turtle: Huh Peril: Why are you so… pale? Sky: Oh! Ahhh, this is by far the What If concept I was hoping the most to be covered in one of these videos. I love Peril and Sky (and Wren for that matter) and wish we could have seen them interact in the books. The art is so precious, and I love the idea of the siblings getting to know one another and finally finding family after being alone (from other dragons at least) for so long. Those three would get along like a house on fire hahaha. Great addition to the series, thank you so much for sharing it!

I think he would take care of the animals for the feast and scavengers for the arena, but would later be fired for letting them go. But while he was in there he met leaf and his companions and it would have brought wren and her brother together sooner. But that’s just what I think.😊

Idea of mine: What if Morrowseer found Moonwatcher, BUT Morrowseer put young Moonwatcher into the prophecy to replace Starflight? This idea came from listening to your if Starflight had powers, and I though it would be interesting, especially if the dragonetts did not like her since she replaced Starflight. Edit: Plus, makes sense, since Morrowseer might have thought that Moonwatcher would be useful for it.
I have a What If that, even though I am writing a version of it, it would be cool to see your take on the idea. The What If is, What If the DoD(Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny) grew up without Clay, I just think it was an interesting idea.

Here are what i would think they’d be named if they switched places: Peril would probably be something like “Blaze” or “Flame” Scarlet might give Sky a name of perhaps a small bird, such as Pigeon or Sparrow. But if i was scarlet i’d name him Cloud. What do you think?

I feel like if Sky was put in the arena, against all odds he would survive and become a lot more fierce then Peril because he has no fire. But outside the arena and not fighting, he'd still be his soft, kind self!
How would peril eat? I’m going to assume peril was like sky in the books, a vegetarian but wouldn’t peril burn all the food she touched to cinders? This is also sort of mentioned in a book (maybe book 9 I think)
I feel like another ways she could have survived is if shark told coral instead of taking tsunami and coral wouldn’t have let the egg out of her sight in case anyone else wanted to steal her kind of like what she did a with anemone

That'd be interesting. I've always hated the way everyone reacted to/treated Tsunami for doing what she did to that SkyWing. In hindsight it looked crazy and impulsive but considering what the gang just went through and knowing SkyWings/MudWings were hunting them she was just playing it save to protect the other dragonets.

What if Sky fell into the sky hole with the dragonets when Wren and Sky saw them? They just by chance got their missing SkyWing, and he’s weird looking too. He’s fit right in with their group!
I think if our SkyWing twins had switched places, Sky could have gotten three possible fates in my opinion: Scarlet and her soldiers could have just decided to kill him right after his birth cause they saw him as useless, or they could have decided to keep him alive but he'd grow up basically the equivalent of a slave cause of his mother's betrayal and his lack of fire, or he'd be left alive but (as someone else suggested in the comment section) Scarlet would gift him to Burn for her Weirdling tower. As for Peril, I think no matter where she'd have gone she'd probably always return to the mountains at one point of her life and have some run-ins with other SkyWings. But I think, mainly she'd be a lot more empathic, calmer (well, maybe not a LOT calmer) and cautious of her abilities.

- what if Thorn never found/never fell in love with stonemover?
- What if Wasp got to the Hatchery to 'inspect' the eggs before cricket?
- What if one of the arc 3 MCs died while burning the greenhouse?
- What if Mangrove never let Glory help them?
- What if Wren never found sky?
- what if dragons DID eat Wren when she was sacrificed?
- What if clearsight never introduced Whiteout to Thoughtful/what if thoughtful and Listener got together instead?
- what if darkstalker didnt put the Copper bracelet on?
- What if Thorn never found qibli?
- What if Hawthorn died before sundew, cricket, willow, mandrake and nettle (+bumblebee) found him?
- What if when cottonmouth tried to use the breath of evil for the first time, it didnt fail?
- What if Lizard/Freedom's egg was never found by the humans?
- What if Gill killed Tsunami instead?
- What if Deathbringer killed glory before he got the chance to know her? (this one is very sad for me in a HUGE glorybringer fan)

Ahhh, this is by far the What If concept I was hoping the most to be covered in one of these videos. I love Peril and Sky (and Wren for that matter) and wish we could have seen them interact in the books. The art is so precious, and I love the idea of the siblings getting to know one another and finally finding family after being alone (from other dragons at least) for so long. Those three would get along like a house on fire hahaha. Great addition to the series, thank you so much for sharing it!

I think he would take care of the animals for the feast and scavengers for the arena, but would later be fired for letting them go. But while he was in there he met leaf and his companions and it would have brought wren and her brother together sooner. But that’s just what I think.😊

I do hope these two meet. I imagine Peil would be wary, not wanting to really get her hopes up, while Sky is his excited self, getting it cranked up when he realizes who Peril is(and some slight jealousy of her fire)

And then maybe forget about wren, who would be very angry, and would go to sunny, who hates peril, and the two would plot a plan to kill her. I started before this came out but after listening to this it gave me the inspiration to finish it
Idea of mine: What if Morrowseer found Moonwatcher, BUT Morrowseer put young Moonwatcher into the prophecy to replace Starflight? This idea came from listening to your if Starflight had powers, and I though it would be interesting, especially if the dragonetts did not like her since she replaced Starflight.
Edit: Plus, makes sense, since Morrowseer might have thought that Moonwatcher would be useful for it.

I have a What If that, even though I am writing a version of it, it would be cool to see your take on the idea. The What If is, What If the DoD(Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny) grew up without Clay, I just think it was an interesting idea.

I wish, or maybe hope, that Sky is at least fire proof seeing as how he shared an egg with Peril.
I like to think a fireless dragon can touch their firescales twin and ONLY their twin because the extra fire in said twin was technically supposed to be theirs
And the death angels can be dragon sized, to spice things up because previously they are only a little taller than humans at 7 to 8 feet tall

Also, if they really switched places, they would have different names as well since Wren named Sky and Scarlet named Peril, but i understand because it would be confusing if they had other names.
Here are what i would think they’d be named if they switched places:
Peril would probably be something like “Blaze” or “Flame”
Scarlet might give Sky a name of perhaps a small bird, such as Pigeon or Sparrow. But if i was scarlet i’d name him Cloud.

I have an idea, what if Tsunami thought the sky wing in book two was yawning, but was really calling the others to kill or capture Sunny.
That'd be interesting. I've always hated the way everyone reacted to/treated Tsunami for doing what she did to that SkyWing. In hindsight it looked crazy and impulsive but considering what the gang just went through and knowing SkyWings/MudWings were hunting them she was just playing it save to protect the other dragonets.

What if the Nightwings joined the Rainwings after Darkstalker lost, becoming allies, or even one tribe to servive?
I think that if scarlet found sky she would have gave him to burn for the weirdling tower
What if Sky fell into the sky hole with the dragonets when Wren and Sky saw them? They just by chance got their missing SkyWing, and he’s weird looking too. He’s fit right in with their group!
I think if our SkyWing twins had switched places, Sky could have gotten three possible fates in my opinion: Scarlet and her soldiers could have just decided to kill him right after his birth cause they saw him as useless, or they could have decided to keep him alive but he'd grow up basically the equivalent of a slave cause of his mother's betrayal and his lack of fire, or he'd be left alive but (as someone else suggested in the comment section) Scarlet would gift him to Burn for her Weirdling tower.
As for Peril, I think no matter where she'd have gone she'd probably always return to the mountains at one point of her life and have some run-ins with other SkyWings. But I think, mainly she'd be a lot more empathic, calmer (well, maybe not a LOT calmer) and cautious of her abilities.
You should do a what’s it’s face or speed paint of darkstalker, it’s been a while since you drew him so I want to see how you draw him now, I would also love to hear your opinion on his book 😀
