Just met Evan recently in Leeds Uk,great guy! He was happy to come over to chat with me and my son👍🏻 he then played a great acoustic set. Respect to Evan Dando a great singer/songwriter,one of many from the 90,s👍🏻
Some things need to go away….and Kathie Lee would be one of them. Despite the snark and condescending talk, Evan plays a brilliant abridged (ok, “annotated”) version of this wonderful song. The Lemmonheads were a reflection of the joy and good times that the 90’s were.
Beautiful voice. Boy, one minute you’re a high school kid with the world ahead of you, blasting things like this with your friends and then…where did it all go?
It's the same as it is now. He sometimes appears kinda weird, but as he is beginning to sing and play it comes out this serenity that he never did loose, even in some bad times.
I saw Evan live solo in Minneapolis, just him on a stage with his guitar, in about 2007 maybe? It was absolutely incredible. The guy is nothing but pure raw talent.
Lmao it’s both actually. I met Evan and he’s like 6’2”, so not a giant but he‘s a big guy no doubt. Regis is rumoured to have been 5’3” or 5’4” and boosted his height by 3 or 4 inches. He was tiny
As soon as he starts singing; what a great voice. What a great composition as well. Couldn't add, Couldn't take away.
Lemonheads is one of the most underrated bands of 90s.
underrated tag yet again.....
No question,I wish I had realized this,I was dino Jr.,nirvana,neurosis, Julianna Hatfield,he would've been next,if I wasn't an idiot.🤘
they were on regis and kelly…. clearly they werent underrated at the time!
100%
Everybody I knew back then rated them highly.. to this day, in all of his weirdness & beauty

Mum's rule. Always be kind. Evan always a groovy cat. Turns every show into magic.
Evan Dando is a treasure. Bless him. He is such a pure soul. Like Shannon Hoon. I sure miss his sweet energy. Love you, Evan.
Not only one hell of a looker, and not just a genius songwriter. Evan is and always was a real sweetheart too.
Evan turns into magic when he plays and sings.
So true!
"I was born in the spring of the Summer of Love" that's beautiful, and one hell of a line actually . . .

Hes such a pure soul
I remember watching this on its broadcast date. Insane. Brings me back.
That voice just takes me back. My favorite bands were the replacements and the lemonheads.
That's awesome! Mine too!!!
I haven't heard that song in so many years but as soon as Evan started singing, I remembered all the words and sang along now
Just magical when he pick up the guitar & sang
Just like Shannon Hoon. Just a magical spirit.
Beautiful voice. Boy, one minute you’re a high school kid with the world ahead of you, blasting things like this with your friends and then…where did it all go?
Such a talent!
Evan is so delightful through and through
All that mocking him and as soon as he picks up a guitar magic pours out.
It's the same as it is now. He sometimes appears kinda weird, but as he is beginning to sing and play it comes out this serenity that he never did loose, even in some bad times.
I love his sweet weirdness. Such a gift.
Its cool to know that i am named after this man
Ahaha aww cool parents!! How old are you if you don’t mind me asking?
🙌🙌

Beautiful
A bit of a stumble through an interview of silly questions. But when he starts singing…holy f**k. What a voice what a song what a songwriter.
Really quite a nice interview. They tried to bridge the culture gap. Evan's a sweet boy.
when he started singing, my whole spine turned electric.
Good album, just heard it today 🤘🏻
It’s a shame about Regis. May he Rest In Peace.
Montevallo Alabama. College town. Big following in the Birmingham area back then.
I can't believe that this was 12 years ago. Time you ever so vicious entity.
Pretty cool guy
i can pour (nearly) a whole box of lemonheads into my mouth at once ...
That was Rad man!
This is awesome
I miss the 90's.
Every single day
It was a big deal he came to Montevallo AL. No one could believe it.
Is Evan huge or is Regis tiny?
is is actually huge
@@nicolasrosk8939 how tall?

Def Regis tiny
Evan sold a bunch of records right then :D
What year was this? I'm gonna guess around 1992 or 1993??
My guitar did not come with those chords. I'm taking it back.
Evan is awesome, come back to Oz!
it's a shame about Evan
Guy in middle has talent which equates TO Evans one breath.. Life hey..
Was Regis ever not a square?
Handsome
He stole my hair.
Did I tell you this guy was bonkos!?
He does have some Kramer vibes LOL
❤❤❤❤❤
To hang with them...it's hang out.
Stop this train, I wanna get off! Look how impossibly young everyone looked
Kathie Lee is showing some legs.......
They're good pegs so why not?
That woman is real funny :D
Gen X'er...
The Gen Xness really stands out against the boomerism of Regis and Kathy! A study in extremes.
How high was Evan? My "Old" Drug Buddy."
Evan and his mother were insulted by KLG and it was very rude
you can see who has the talent and whom does not !¡!
