I just got an HKS catless downpipe and frontpipe installed and I have a Tomei Type D and I'm finding it a bit too aggressively loud. I might have to get that Apexi exhaus. Even though you're catless it doesn't sound too loud

Hey dude! Loving the build so far. I can’t seem source much info on aftermarket spark plugs. Did your tuner run into any issues on the HKS plugs on your dyno? Would love to know. Much appreciated
The dyno was from several tune revisions ago on E20 I believe pushing 450whp. I'm on E35 now and have completed tuning so I need to get back on the dyno.
Nah, I won't. Build quality is definitely better on them since they're flared fenders and not add-on extension pieces all over. Basically the same car though overall. Time will tell if tuners give the FL5 the same treatment with a lot of aftermarket parts. Especially aero. I'm thinking they won't because the whole point was for the FL5 to be a more toned down look. The Type-S looks more my style (minus the seats) but even that is basically the same car also haha. I want another project car but different chassis.

Yep. Same diameter is prl's inlet pipe.

Before we tuned he said he preferred oem ngk plugs but had him tune it anyways and had zero issues

Have you put this through its paces at a track? If so, any significant improvements?
Did some small testing around a track. Really looking forward to track days once a very special part comes in.

Need to go dyno again since my flex fuel tuning is finished. That was several revisions ago and it did 450whp. I think E20 at the time.

Yea, adding oil cooler, flex fuel, widebody, etc was just replacing parts 😂
