Nice vlog! But one thing.. tips in Europe are still a thing. I used to work in restaurants and because its not written on the bill (like in America) tourists will not give any tip. Although, we dont get paid that much, so tips are still a thing from kindness and appreciation.
Which country? In Italy, for example, that is not a thing. People will give you bizarre looks if you try to tip (unless it’s a tourist trap), whether at a restaurant, hair salon, etc.
i will go there this sunday actually, ive solo travelled to portugal before (porto) in 2022 and i wasnt really feeling in the mood for it, but this video actually helped me to look forward to it and be more excited
Hey there lovely! I just came across your channel. It's funny we kind of travel in the same places... I also went to Colombia and Portugal and I'm based in NYC ☺good luck with everything
Nice vlog Wu. We love Portugal, especially the food. Our 2 favorite places were Madeira and Logos. Glad to have found you. I love to see people adventure and enjoy solo trips at times. Subed to support your adventures. I am doing my rounds letting our friends and colleagues here know that we are one step closer to making our dream of driving around the World with a carbon-neutral footprint, and we have changed our channel name to be more marketable for our niche of travel, preservation, and culture. It is a little geeky, but we like it. I hope you enjoy your day and continue to enjoy our content as we try to improve. - Turtle
Loved your Lisbon series and super glad to see that you posted this guide. Heading to Portugal next week, so I'll be sure to keep all your tips in mind 🌞i'd love to document my time there... how safe did you feel having your camera out on a tripod when filming yourself in public areas?
Yay so excited for you! I hope you decide to document :) it’s so much fun to reflect and look back at your trip later on. I felt super safe having my camera out on a tripod! Honestly never had to worry
These were some great tips! I’m headed there soon and this was helpful. It sounds like I won’t have to carry too much cash since cards are taken. Did you use the bus system in getting around as well?
Just booked my very first solo trip to Lisbon for March! Nervous but mostly excited 😊 thanks for sharing your experience

Next month I will be travelling to Lisbon for the third consecutive year. It's impossible not to fall in love with this city. Trust me

Does ur job allow u to work remotely in another country?
How many days should I stay there?
I’d say 3-5 days!
