Good video. I'm about to install race bodywork for the first time so I'm trying to determine the appropriate option for fasteners. I can't believe there's so much to learn about dzus fasteners, I was going to order some quickly, that was a couple of hours ago.
Before this video I was considering the Dzus Pro (D4), with rivet S-Spring. After watching this I noticed you mentioned using the Dzus Pro (D8). Which measurement does the D4 or D8 refer to specifically (diameter or depth)? and how best to determine what is the correct size for my application?

You might have mentioned it but I didn’t catch it. What is the stock size fastener? Size 6 is what I’m assuming. I am using your video to help me with my R1 body fasteners and I appreciate how thorough you are. Well done.

David! Thank you very much for watching and also for the feedback. I appreciate it very much.
For the R3, the OEM body work bolts are a mix of M6 and M5 fasteners. The plastic rivets are M6s. Most of the R3 fasteners are the same as what I am using on my two R6s (so I am assuming the R1 would be very similar).
Let me know if you need more details.
      Cheers,
      /Marco
