Controlling OILY Patterns Using RADICAL Gear | SPECTO Data | BrunsNick

- Here's a scenario using all Radical bowling balls on a heavier oil pattern and trying to control the ball motion in stages. From the fresh to when they start breaking down, I'll be using the Innovator Solid, Katana Strike and Sneak Attack Solid.
With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Ball Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based on the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

Your equipment reviews are great, and the wisdom distributed throughout these videos you’re making are like free mini lessons. Thanks for doing what you do!
Appreciate that! Will do!
This was a great video. Sometimes I struggle to know what type of ball I should be in and often on vids with house, it's hard to tell some nuance, distinguish differences in ball reaction because the bowler on the vid is crushing the house shot. This sport shot with volume is helping to separate the balls and I like your explanations
This was a great and informative video. Radical is my ball of choice and this comparison on a difficult pattern is very helpful.
Good video. Your insights will apply no matter what your brand favorite is.
Love those balls. I really want the Sneak Attack Solid.
Nick this series is fantastic! Radical is kicking butt and might just be the best top to bottom brand in Brunswick. Well since I only have three balls mine is Hammer Black Widow 2.0 solid, Motive Pride solid (benchmark) and my Radical Bonus Pearl for the breakdown and drier conditions. Good stuff Nick.
I got the Innovator Solid as my starter oily condition ball, my step down is the Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid. Katana Strike wasn't out when I got them. Looks good though. Thank you for this Video Nick, was nice to see how these handle the oil.
Love my Radical arsenal.
I'm down to 2 balls...paragon pearl....katana strike...never had a radical ball...looking forward to that ball
Everybody worse than me!! Nice!! 😂😂
My three ball arsenal
Trailblazer Solid
Pandemonium Pearl
Electrify Hybrid for Spares
@2:48 Talk to em Nick
What I had meant to say is you won’t beat anyone better than me (which is pretty much everyone) 😂
@@brunsnick Freudian slip or not. I haven't seen anyone on your channel throw it better!! 🤣

I am like you with higher ball speed and lower revs. Surface is my friend.
In fact, I just received a pack of 3 1500 grit Siaair Brunswick pads for my Outer Limits and Ocean Vibe.
I have 3 Radical balls, Incognito Pearl, Sneak Attack Hybrid, Trail Blazer Solid
Cool video talk tech bowling bowling ball
I use the Innovator Solid and Sneak Attack but use the Outer Limits instead of the Katana. Surface on Outer Limits as it is too much out of the box.
wish you'd show or say the balls core stats, RG Diff etc. I have to pause your vids to bring up another site just to know what your throwing. For ball reviews/comparisons it really seems like basic needed information. Only thing missin friend ;)
Nice video, for you.
How did you figure out how to UA-cam?
I even have ear pods
@@philcardinale4328 are those custom order?
Hello great video, Is the katana strike one of the strongest balls from the brands of Brunswick. What are the strongest aysm balls the brands have currently? My daughter bowls highschool tournaments and is needing to upgrade her hellraiser blaze as she has had it for 100's of games. Just curious if you could list the strongest aysms solid or hybrid so we know which ones to choose from. I was thinking strike and using surface. Anyways thanks for what you do its great.
I would say there are other stronger balls. Track Archetype for me is the most aggressive strong balls we have.
Would you be able to take a look at my arsenal and pick 6 for league/tournament use?
Sure but you don’t need 6 for league. If they are competitor brands I probably won’t be of much help there since I don’t know the stuff.
You haven't bowled at my normal house @brunsnick. Last week I used the Innovator Solid and Hellcat right and never had to move. Tonight the Crypto Boom was over under, pin down Sneak Attack Solid was ok, but the Diamond Diva was money...
@@brunsnick all brunswick brands except 2 (wont include those). How do I get my list to you? I will take any advice you provide.
🎳🎳👍
There is no better way to destroy the heads than to wipe the ball constantly. There are times it's useful, like when you're trying to create a hook spot. It's just soooo overrated otherwise. That my opinion anyway..
It’s not like the oil is going to come off the ball and go back onto the lane if you don’t wipe it off
@oginaz Really? Then pay no attention to the rings of oil on the ball.. ignore the fact that it's going to roll over those rings again(assuming you can throw it the same way twice). I can't believe you even said that, lol! Is it going to put the oil back on the lane?? Haha!! Silly..
Are you drunk or just old or both like me . .
Hey! I resemble that remark...😂
I kid I kid, good stuff dude. Really like it!
