I have the Katana Assault, the results+ and the spy in my bag. Tuesday night my high game was 236 with the katana assault. Love it for the down lane action on dry lanes. I’m a lefty.
I love your honest reviews. I have enjoyed watching your videos. You’re honest about your game, but your reviews are universal, in terms of the ball and how they react. Which, helps me learn a lot about the science behind the ball in bowling. I got my first ball 3 months ago (Hammer Raw Hybrid). Love my ball, but seeing these videos are encouraging me to widen my arsenal. Love The Hype, Charles! Keep striking!
Big fan of the Bigfoot Hybrid. Got mine drilled pin down or less hook Mo drilling. Pay attention to where you put the thumb. If you hit the core with thumb you make it asymmetrical. Just make sure it is what you want, whatever that is. I think you will like it.
I know you were referring to just Radical when you said this was the only strong symmetric HK22 Pearl, but based on those captions at the end I'd love to see a video comparison against the Stealth Pearl.
I have something a little bigger in mind. Let’s see what these last couple for bowl expo are going to be and I will definitely get something out for sure!
Cool to get a 2nd opinion on the crypto series. You mentioned tge original crypto solid was super super strong but I have that ball and feel kinda bored with it. Maybe it's just me. It was my first reactive ever after coming back from bowling after 20 yr break. I feel that yes I like the ball but as soon as I get to any kind of medium oil I feel it just doesn't do well that much. I feel like it's more for light to dry lanes maybe. Who knows.
The crypto solid can get slow because of how strong the cover is. It needs a lot of maintenance if you let it lane shine it can get really slow down lane.
@The Hype thanks for the input. Yeah sometimes I get confused and think strong balls always should be strong and when you don't always see that you can start thinking man it seems weak. Especially if they burn up with little oil on the lanes. You think it should hook even more when extra dry but I have been learning that it's the opposite. Thank you.
@@brianmizway9324 Well that's not exactly it. Hook isn't what most bowlers think it is. Covering boards right to left is NOT hook. That's friction response off the breakpoint when the ball exists the pattern. Hook happens before that, in the mid-lane... or at least it should. The problem with big strong balls when the fronts get dry is NOT that they stop hooking... quite the opposite, actually. It's that they hook too early because they encounter friction sooner, and they roll out. Early hook makes the ball slow down faster, then it has no energy left to go through the pins.
@Not Onyourlife thank you. Makes me wonder if I should be using a pearl most of the time for house and league shots so I always have the extra energy on the backends? And maybe only use a solid on heavy oil/fresh house shots?
Im a rev dominant slow speed bowler and always use pearls on a wall Solids are too slow downlane but pearls alow me to use the friction and carry the corners
Maybe the lane was just a mess, but that Crypto goes dead straight off the spot every time... unless you've got android- like precision (and I don't🤣), it's tough to score with ball motion like that. This one would be a hard pass for me...

Man count is hilarious 😂
@4:55 he didn’t count 3 of them when he left the 6,10 😜

You said man at 11:07,13:53, and 16:37. The counter didn't go up! Are you sandbagging your MAN count? haha
😂
Awesome. I love how you embrace the challenge of trying to diversify your release. It shows a willingness to get better.
Thabks for the review Charles. I use the assault on fresh and I just got the boom for my second ball during league night! Appreciate it!

Every drilled bowling ball is asymmetrical
I can't wait to get one of these purple bowling balls are the best
Don't forget an "again" counter too. 😛
Whats your play using the 2.0 hybrid with the crypto pearl?

Radical is looking good!

You need a Yeah Man! Shirt lol😂

Where can I get one of those Hype shirts?!
Hopefully this week. They will be in and you will be able to go the website: www.thehypebowling.com
Would you carry both balls in your bag?
Most definitely.
You said the word "man" at least 20 times in this video, Charles…😂
That shirt is more my thing than the jerseys.
I don't want to bowl with a jersey on like I'm a pro but bowl under 200 lmao
I completely understand that’s why I came out with these. I should have them in stock hopefully this week coming up.
@@TheHype-Bowling nice!
I'm not going to lie though I like that. Rick and Morty jersey
