I was especially appalled about the lady with the dog. I know I shouldn’t make assumptions but I immediately got the vibe that she just had a pretty looking dog for the insta and that the dog was not getting enough attention, hence why it was sad when Molly was sent away (so rude btw). I was going through old vlogs and this one auto played and I was so confused because I couldn’t remember this vlog, and I know all vlogs back to back! When I realised I got so excited!!!
The strobing is usually the shutter speed on the camera - the best way to make it go away is reduce the SS to 100, 50, or 25. The camera will then make the image REALLY bright, so you might have to turn down the ISO if you can. The strobing tends to happen with tv screen and artificial lighting - it’s so annoying but hopefully this helps!
This makes so much sense but I’m currently using auto (Sony ZV1) because I’m a super super beginner- is it still possible to do that without using manual?

But I think if you’re shooting video in Auto mode you won’t have any control over the settings, including the shutter speed. As I say, I haven’t used the ZV1 before so I may be mistaken. But I’m pretty confident you will be restricted in making any adjustments like the above. Definitely enjoy the stage you’re at now and what’s comfortable for you. But maybe when you have time and can play around, try shooting in manual and explore what settings work for you! Hopefully you’ll be able to remove the strobes if you come across them a lot! ☺️👏🏻✨
