I buy this charger on banggood and it's a great little cheap charger :)
I connected friend helicopter battery and plug did not have keys that protect against reverse connections and charger burned.
After inspecting board I found that charging controlling chips (TP4056E) burned
So I ordered new ones and replace theme :)
So this movie will show how You can repair churned charger :)

hello
im have made a custom battery pack using 3s 18650 (3 cell, almost 12v).
I have also made the balanced lead (white connector ) for charging with b3 charger.
when i connect the battery to the charger, the 3 leds are always red, but i have chrged that battery pack to full before.
those led where red for long time.
what is the problem i cant understand please help
First check 3s battery diagram to see if You have all connected as they should be.
You can check voltage between batteries on balance plug to see if there is voltage from each battery.
Red means it's charging, but it's possible that it's balancing them and that's why it's taking so much time
@@Adrian202 cab you explain this in a video. Although I applied my knowledge how much I know. It would be helpful for me.

It's not hard, there are some practice kits where You practice soldering normal and SMD :)
Do have to say, you have the tools and know how, I dont have the patience but have tried and it's very tedious work.
I just don't like to throw out stuff and for Me repair is easy but if repair is complicated I also buy new one :)

if You mean diodes than it's red/ green that are original inside
What do i do if it does not balance charge, my 3s lipo has a charge of 99% c1, 98% c2, 37% c3. Im kind of worried, my balancer also sucks.
Hm, I did not get this problem, only think I got on mind is that charger just did not finish charge or that last chip is broken.
Sadly it is just a cheap charger so not much to expect.
I made a battery when put it in some smoke came out now only middle light working what's the mattwr
You may connect it in wrong polarity and this charger don't have any protection over that
U need to replace dem tings u know d chips

I'll change 3 all ics but still nothing happened when I connect battery to charger the light will glow green

hello sir, can you help me to identify what is the problem with my charger? all the lights are still green even though I have installed the lipo battery, and when I check the output voltage on the 2s and 3s sockets using a multimeter, there is no voltage at all ...thank you..
There will be no voltage because charger need to detect battery voltage.
I think Your battery is over discharge, voltage is so low that charger don't detect battery, and then will not charge battery.
@@Adrian202 first, thank you for your willingness to respond.. maybe what you said is true.. but when I checked the voltage of my battery, it's only 3.9v... and I tried three different batteries, but the result is still the same.. the light on the charger doesn't turn red...
what ic components are you using? please state the code or series, thank you

Can we use another one institute of TP4056E

To raczej problem z niższą jakością elektroniki, nie wykorzystasz kanału 3 bo zabraknie kanału 2
IMAX B3 is having the same red led problem in the video shows that you changed the 3 smd Wouldn't it be better to just change the smd corresponding to the red led?
If You get red LED when nothing is connected that may mean faulty chip or that something is not solder correctly so before looking on chips check all soldering points on board
@@Adrian202 mine started to turn on the red LED in the middle after I mounted a wrong battery must have given a short .
I bought mine on aliexpress I hardly used it I have several 18650 batteries to mount the 2s and 3s batteries I ended up calling inverted and it must have burned

So there was no point in replacing the chips, correct? The LEDs were broken.
Chip burned, but I needed to unsolder LEDs to get to theme
I am getting output voltage as 4.25 to4. 35 what to do can I charge my lipo
output from lipo battery or one cell ??
