Fricking love your reactions, got me laughing in public 🤣 Also I'm not convinced about the presence of Alys Rivers either. We've never seen her speak with anyone aside from Daemon and it seemed to me as though Simon Strong looked through her, not at her as she walked past 👻
Same. I have stated this for the longest. But, some people keep insisting that she's been acknowledged, by others in the castle. But, I still think she's a witch that only Daemon can see, hunting the castle and bringing out his fears of failure.
@@obdiane If so I wonder what her goal of doing so would be. And she doesn't seem like she's totally malevolent to me, she was concerned about the wellbeing of the innocents his men attacked and the women and vulnerable in war. I wonder also if she's a ghost instead of a witch. Or both. Feel like it could maybe be her taking the guise of the other women too, Daemons mother and Laena
22:16 I'm assuming because Dany and Jon were the only known Targaryens in over 20vyears, there may not have been anyone for them to bond with. They can be affectionate to anyone or know their scent but Dany only rode Drogon and Jon Rhaegal. Just a guess.
Aegon’s mommy line is just heartbreaking. The writers are really doing a good job on making this character have more depth and complexity. On one point, you can feel bad for how he was raised and only wanting his mother’s love and validation, but on the other hand, he’s also done horrible things that are completely unforgivable. The new Cobra Kai season is coming on Thursday. Are you excited for it?
Alicent sucks but Aegon wasn't taught to rape, bully his brother and get off on watching children fight for his enjoyment. A lot of his depravity and cruelty is him. His parents were absent but they didn't teach him his cruelty and depravity. That's all Aegon.
@@tonyahines4554 That all stems from neglect and parental absence though. Yes Aegon is extremely cruel and has done many unforgivable things, but it’s not like he was born this way back when he was a baby and it’s not like his parents don’t have a part in his behavior. And this explanation does not excuse his actions, as it only explains them.
Great reaction as always Aisha 😂...Love how u react to Allicent being so blind to how bad of a mother she is. That she raised those boys to be exactly what they've become lol it's baffling how much she could have prevented & doesn't see it. Rhaenyra's boys would never assault a woman & were 1st to defend young Rhaena & Baela from one eyed Aemond who was taught to be cruel & look down on bastards. Baela became a favourite of mine after this episode, hope we see more of the Blacks children including Rhaena in Vale.
@@maelguiraud3568 im fed up of hearing that excuse after all that boy said beforehand, Baela and Rhaena did absolutely nothing to him before that night. Aemonds disrespectful mouth & cruelty is what got him grabbed. He threw sweet Rhaena to the floor & Baela belted him, rightly so lol.
I wouldn't judge Alicent's motherhood so hard. We all know how her children were conceived. It must be really hard for her to be able to connect to them, especially the sons
Well she should’ve at least tried to make the best of it, and yet we saw no real attempts on her end to connect with her boys. After all, she’s able to be affectionate and loving to Aemond and Helaena a little bit in season one.
@@garlantyrell6368 yes, if I were her, I would have done my best to convince Viserys to send them to learn with the Tullys or any other decent house. At least they would have been far from me and learning how to be a good ruler
If I was Lady Jeyne, I'd also be annoyed at Rhaenyra - I sacrifice a huge army and you give me baby dragons? What are those gonna do against Vhagar? (Who has invaded the Eyrie before)
Since this episode talks so much about sons, on Aegon's council, the Master of Laws has the nickname "Ironrod" and it makes a lot of sense since he is the one who makes the laws and must be very severe, right? But no, it's because the guy had 29 children with 4 wives, the last of whom died of exhaustion (exhaustion of what I'd rather not know about).
Daemon and rhaenyra need each other Rhaenyra without Daemon doesn't have the militaristic might but Daemon without Rhaenyra has none of the knowledge and diplomacy
@cheriacole7114 Yeah, I think that's what Daemon realised last episode after everything with the blackwoods and brakens. I know they do reconcile by the end of the season.looks like Daemon is leaving harrenhall next episode, so I think he will go see her and talk and start supporting her again
Daemon was 2 steps ahead in this war before he got to harrenhall 1 daemon said last season we need to get the unclaimed dragons but rhaenyra didn't want to hear it until jace mentioned it. 2 he said we need to jump vhagar but rhaenys said u ain't the king ok bet RIP 😢
Clearly, you haven't been paying attention ... Wildfire was created after because the Targaryen's lost the power of the dragons this was explained in Game of thrones
I agree about the "insanity" with Daemon. The witch A. Rivers, is so annoying to me. I don't like that character at all.. she's not interesting at all, to me. I literally want to skip past her scenes.
I dont know if Corlys' bastard would be able to ride a dragon? His children could because Rhaenys brought Targeryan blood to the mix, but idk who the mother was
Allicent: *Tries her hardest to install a kingship full of egotistical, loathsome men* Also Allicent: *Is shocked and amazed they proceed to act egotistical and loathsome* Also Cole cleaning his sword, which I don't think was even used in the prior episode, with a fresh lemon while the citizens have to eat rotten lemons is just the *perfect* encapsulation of Cole's character. The contrast between him and Jace is just monumental on so many levels.
Most of the episode had me saying what in the hell is going on here while clutching my nonexisting pearls 🤣 Also love your reactions since motherland fort salem wish they got picked up by another service

Thats a good question for both the show and book.
