Good review, I'm also on the move, I install windows. so I have to move around quickly. I just bought a ridgid pack out. But I hate unstacking, so I'm going back to this cantilever.
You’ll be better of with Milwaukee stackable, that’s my next move, I still use the dewalt toolbox because i have limited space in my van, and it’s fit perfectly nic, i located it at the side door, and it’s has just enough space to slide it open without taking it out of the van)photos.app.goo.gl/r7vbQug4r4wMi4qV6
I bought one yesterday under the Craftsman label. I think if I don't beat it up too much it's going to work well. I might build a removable shelf for the bottom compartment.
My still doing just fine, It's in the Van all the time, and it doing great! For the shelf i'm not sure since it will make it more fragile, unless you make some reinforcement! Thanks for the Comment!
how is this holding up for you today?.. i was thinking of getting this.. i’m a painter and looking for something to hold my roller frames/naps, caulk/gun, sandpaper, brushes etc
I’m keeping it permanently in van, so can say it holding up well, all of my tools are organized and easy to access, plus when you fold it and lock it, it’s pretty solid. For $100 I would say it’s a good starting point, but if planning on expanding in the future, Milwaukee stackable is the way to go.
I have the same model but mine is the Stanley brand, I haven't had another tool box with a better design, I really love it but I don't use it anymore because it is not water proof and I drive a pick up. Does this DeWalt tool box keep your tools dry?
Yes, i do like the ergonomic. I keep it inside the van, so it always dry, but one i left it outside with light rain and the only compartment that stayed dry was the top one, and not the rest, so it’s not waterproof at all…
Yea, id be able to fit maybe 2 drawers of my tools in that and itd snap in two if i lugged around any powr tools.. lol. Good little crafting box for the wife though..
