About “Take the Money and Run”: That movie came out when the MPAA was new and the ratings were different (GP, M, the only rating that was the same was G).

Magnetic tapes are rare as Neon Mickey, Columbia Pictures Home Entertainment, WCI Home Video, and MCA Videocassette Inc

And don’t forget the early Media Home Entertainment VHS tapes when it was under MEDA. MEDA was a series of titles which was put out by Media from 1977 through 1980 when they changed it to “Media” and kept with the yellow and blue scheme. Many of these earlier titles were B-movie horror films, adult comedy, musicals, family films, and of course, porn. Media did put out many of the promo titles during its existence like “Alice in Wonderland”, a 1976 porno spoof of a classic film that Disney did back in 1951. For the B-movie horror films during its early years, MEDA did put out the 1968 zombie classic “Night of the Living Dead”, “Nocturna”, another underrated disco horror film, and of course, the original “Halloween” with Jamie Lee Curtis in her movie debut. These MEDA titles are now collectables, and they now very expensive.

I see Magnetics a little more frequently than any of those label formations. I've only seen a WCI tape once, and MCA Videocassette Inc can also be disguised as MCA Home Video titles (tapes that have the MCA Home Video label and logo on the packaging and stickers but still retains the logo, but this is rare but not impossible to find). I've also seen a Meda title once, ten years ago. I picked it up and it was The End of the World.

    Crazy tapes!
I only have a few which are:
    Bus Stop 1977 Beta
    Gentlemen Prefer Blondes 1977 Beta
The Seven Year Itch 1977 Beta
The Boston Strangler 1977 Beta (arguably my rarest out of these four)
    The Barefoot Contessa 1981 Beta
    The Maltese Falcon 1981 Beta
Jesus of Nazareth (3 tapes) 1980/81 Beta
9 to 5 1981 Beta (says 1980, however, the release was put off until 1981.)
Fiddler on the Roof 1981 Beta
The Adventures of Tom Swayer 1980 Beta
The Lion in Winter 1980 Beta
And for the upcoming Christmas: Norma Rae 1980 VHS.

Wow! That’s a lot of Magnetic titles. I don’t own any of the titles from Magnetic, but the ones you don’t have are “9 to 5” with Dolly Parton, “The Making of ‘Star Wars’”, one of the very first “Star Wars” home video releases ever made, and a few others like Mighty Mouse, Gandy Goose, and others, as well as “Fiddler on the Roof”, “West Side Story” (2-tape set), “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World” (2-tape set), “Dr. No” one of the first “Big Box” releases from 20th Century Fox Video that has the Magnetic Video logo at the beginning instead of the 1953 20th Century Fox logo with voiceover mentioning 20th Century Fox Video, and “Dr. No” was the very first James Bond movie ever made in 1962.
I love the labels, but I remember when I was a kid, I stare at the Magnetic Video labels, and the titles that I know of was printed in Times New Roman. These brings back some memories.

BTW, I found this video back in 2013 where Ray Glasser, a collector of Betamax tapes got two Magnetic Betamax releases of “The French Connection” and “The Boy From Brazil”. Go check and see.
