Hoping that Smith helmet, has no issue as that of Smith Convoy, the 2 plastic near the rotating wheel is too pointy - and painful in the back of the head.
Good job on the review Jess. Sorry it was a no go for you. Mine actually does squeeze my sunglasses on my temples, but I just put up with it I guess. I have started to get headaches as well so I cam going to see if I get them with my other helmets or if it is just my Smith helmets. I just thought I was not drinking enough or something else that was causing my headaches, more toward the end of a ride. Anyway, excellent job on this.

Yeap, always try a helmet first. Everyone's head shape is different. As to hair, I myself have not tried the mips system, but I use a bicycle cap, so I don't think I would have an issue. A helmet is too expensive to keep if you are not happy with it.

I was considering it as well, but I understand the air flow through the helmet is not that great, and I live in hot Florida!
