Thando Re Thando by HimaliMou live at Jaipur Lit Fest 2021. It is a Garwali folk song in praise of the cold breeze and cold water of the mountains. Himalimou literally means Himalayan honey. With a sound as sweet as honey and cool and fresh as a mountain breeze, Sarvjeet Tamta and members of the group Rehmat-e-Nusrat present Pahaadi folk music, from Kumaon in Uttarakhand. Rarely heard outside the mountains, the band showcases several different styles of music from the region, including Jhora, Chanchari, Chapeli, Nyoli and Chaiti.
