Monte Guglielmo, from Zone BS (ITA) for the wood of the Gnomes, Brescian Prealps

Monte Guglielmo is a 1957-metre mountain that rises in the Brescia (ITA)Pre-Alps.
The path starts from the village of Zone where it is possible to leave the car before embarking on the route. The first stretch corresponds to a dirt road and you will find the first indications for the ascent to Monte Guglielmo. The route continues on the path of the Bosco degli Gnomi, where you can admire wooden sculptures positioned along the route.
Continuing you reach a crossroads where you can choose one of the two alternatives 227 or 227A. The 227A cuts through the woods and allows you to gain time, albeit steeper.
You then arrive at the Palmarusso di Sotto malga and the Almici refuge. From here, take the last stretch of path up to the summit of Monte Guglielmo where there is the monument of the Redeemer.
