how much it costed you after credit card cashback, there are many negative reviews about samsung ACs noise and cooling in a youtube channel for the same model , i am getting this at 36400 with free installtion ,is it a good deal ?
Excellent price.. Just purchase it before the price increases.. I bought it for around 48K with 5 Yrs service and I will get 15% cashback after 90 days so I got around 40K after cashback.. There are same models with minor difference in name.. Just make sure you read it properly.. Also I think the model which you are talking does not have a wifi.. Pls cross check or else you will buy wrong one.. Lower model dont have wifi connection in it..

Bro I got it from Reliance Digital and samsung was having a tie up with HDFC Bank using their credit card.. So the offer was 15% cashback after 90 days.. Upto Rs. 10000..So I got 15% and also no cost emi

I am planning to buy it. please define that how was its cooling?is it par with a blue star, Hitachi or the cooling is average?
It's cooling is upto expectation.. It was able to cool the 150 Sq Ft room in 7 to 8 mins at 16 degrees.. And eventually I had to increase the temperature as it was that efficiently cooling the room..
While switching on the ac power from cord does it make sound for 2to3 sec and after that it stop . Does it happen in your ac ??
The clicking of electrical components at start-up and shutdown is a normal part of the system’s operation, but constant or ongoing clicking is not typical. It could be a sign of a defective control or a failing thermostat. Even mine AC makes a sound for initially 2 seconds this means the power gets transferred to all the components immediately on switching On

Did they install tricare filter for you? I found tricare filter in the box, when I asked them, they simply said this model won’t support tricare filter. I am sure that this model supports tri care filter but not sure whether filter which found given as additional one or that needs to be installed.
Do we need to use stabilizer ???
If there is more power fluctuation in your area or frequent power cuts then take 1 along with this.. Or else not needed.. Just check once your area and power stability..

Yes it does have but i would suggest that if the fluctuations are more frequent better get 1 and install.. But remember.. The technicians will charge you seperately for fitting the stabilizer..

Yes every company provides accessories in box.. Even in Samsung you will get it

I am also planning to buy it from relience digital, they said it will come for around 37500, they are charging 1100 for installation for their own team but can I book installation directly from samsung which is only 500. Did you use hdfc credit card or debit card ?
I used credit card and no cost EMI and got a good cashback which will get credited after 90 days.. Go with Reliance Digital as if you go with Samsung they have standard installation of 500 but on every thing they will charge u with GST and that would exceed overall cost from Reliance Digital also.. Reliance digital will just charge you without GST and directly you will save 18%...Also very important point if u buy it from Reliance Digital the Samsung technicians won't come for installation as they have have a tie up that only ResQ will do installation
I will upload a video shortly wherein I will tell you how to save money from installation process..stay tuned you can save thousands of money as I did..
I just contacted samsung toll free number and they told there is no such thing like of I buy from relience digital then I have to take their service , I can directly call samsung and book their service anytime , also for this ac model the standard installation is free of cost and only power cord charges is required if the pipe provided in the box is sufficient. And also when I contacted relience store they said I have to book two service per year from them in order to get the 5 years comprehensive warranty which is also wrong. Relience digital is purposefully misleading and tricking people into taking their service and buying their resq plan.
Agreed but when I contacted they said me if you buy from Reliance then for installation only ResQ person will come and if we want Samsung Technician to come we have to call Reliance and they will raise a request to Samsung for their technician which is very rare that they would visit as Reliance has a tie up with the companies for this purpose...Everyone will say Standard installation is free but no one will define what is standard installation...if anything extra if they provide you are out of Free installation and per Sq Ft charges will start...This no company will define as this is the main source of income... just check UA-cam is flooded with videos wherein companies charge more than 5000 rupees after all the installation is completed and mainly LG is involved in this..The first year service is free from anyone..and comprehensive warranty is provided by Samsung and not ResQ so we all will held Samsung responsible as product is of samsung...If u take service warranty from Samsung it will cost you more and ResQ will cost you less...Just take all these aspects when you buy from anywhere..be it Samsung, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma just remember their main income is during installation..

Yes filter comes with this AC and technician should install the same in the AC itself... Tri-Care filter is made up of three layers that reduce harmful particles to help maintain healthy indoor air quality and has been certified by Intertek to reduce 99.9% of bacteria and viruses that get caught inside of it
Yes, I have also got tricare filter, when I asked the technician they simply said this model won’t support tricare filter and he tried to take that with him. What should I do now, shall I call the technician again to install it?
Yes just call the company who installed the AC.. Let it be Samsung or Reliance Digital... That happened even with me they just opened the upper outlet and kept the filter there.. I was sure they had not installed it where it was needed to be installed. I called ResQ and told them to provide me with technician for Demo as I told them they didn't explain me all the features.. When the new technician visited I told him to install the filter kept on upper part of Indoor Unit and in turn he installed it.. Just tell them it's not properly installed..

As you said I have called the technician, initially he insisted that this model won’t support but I have told him that my friend also bought same AC and his AC got installed with this filter, then he accepted and told me that he will install it tomorrow. But I am not sure he will be able to install it or not. It’s very hard to trust these guys as he tried to take that filter with him. Let me know if you have instructions to install it properly.
Thanks for the appreciation bro!!! We all can stay connected with this platform and it feels great when I help many friends across India.. If the filter has given he has to install and remember the correct place where the filter is installed is from front and not top.. So the new technician which installed it had done from the front he will just remove the plastic front panel and attach it.. But if the same technician comes I'm sure he is not aware of the exact place of installing the filter so just call them and specify them that you want different technicians who knows about the filter..

Wires they giveor not?
You will get only the 2 core wire which goes from indoor to outdoor the 3 core power cable and one more additional 2 core wire you will have to get either seperately or from the technician.. Generally we think this is included but we get trapped and they charge us more for this..
Dose this AC work with voice commands like Alexa or Google assistant?
Yes it works with Google Assistant and Alexa I'll demonstrate it in next video..Stay tuned for the same

I would suggest you to go in a physical store rather then online as you can bargain a bit more and save more and there they will directly convert your money into no cost EMI.. The best is HDFC Credit card as it had 15% cashback when i purchased so directly 7000 will be deducted from your statement

If you get 5 Star AC at same price so why to buy a 3 Star AC...Further I had LG at my office but the service which they provide was pathetic.. From that experience I stopped suggesting LG to anyone untill they improve their after sale service and product spare parts availability... Considering Samsung, I found that since years Samsung is known for its mobiles and TV's but he is a new player in AC but its not like only Ogeneral and Mitsubishi knows how to make it... There is no rocket science in this.. And since samsung has done a lot of research in making the product efficient so I would suggest you to go with Samsung...Just see to these reasons before you get an AC... Products are good of both of them... But we need service for AC unlike TV and Fridge where we want only good products..

Yes if you have less usage then 1 Ton and 4 Star is preferable.. But we have to make sure that its coming with the latest year and not of 2020...

Nahi nahi bilkul karega.. Apka bhi 5 star hai.. Itna jyada difference nahi ayega.. Samsung ne iss AC ko thoda efficient banaya hai.. Par jyada farak nahi padega.. 5 star hona zaruri hai.. Apka bill kam bilkul kam ayega...
Which ac is best Samsung or lg
My personal opinion is that Samsung has a slight edge just because of 5 yrs comprehensive warranty.. Going with Samsung is a bit safe after all this is an electronic product and warranty matters the most.. I have a video on both Samsung and LG you can watch them before taking a decision..

Hi, Mera Outdoor Unit jb on hota hai to thodi der bad ek bhot tej aur bhot hi abnormal noise aati hai 3-4 seconds ke liye fir normal ho jata hai. Kya ye issue hai?
Bhai jab outdoor unit On hota hai toh thoda awaaj aata hai.. As suddenly it gets the power.. You need not worry.. This is normal yeh sirf ON hone ki awaaj hai.. But yes aap time to time service karate rahe apne AC ko..

Earlier Energy efficiency was in star wise now it's some ISEER , is there any difference in these standards .
These are 2 different things..Let me explain them
The star rating of an AC helps in estimating the cooling efficiency of an air-conditioner... This star rating is provided for customer awareness by BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency.)
Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (ISEER) - Ratio of the total annual amount of heat that the equipment can remove from the indoor air when operated for cooling in active mode to the total annual amount of energy consumed by the equipment during the same period.
But generally you would find that star and ISEER will go hand in hand. For Eg: if the AC is of 3 Star the ISEER would be around 3.5 to 3.75 and if AC is of 5 star the same would be above 4.75 and in this case its 5.20 which exceeds 5 so this is a very latest one.
ar18ay5yatz vs ar18ay5ybtz... I can see these two models with same features but price differs.. can anyone help why there's much price difference between the two?
How to get the comprehensive warranty ?
By default you will get the warranty... Its coming along with this AC
does power chord comes with the package?
The main Power cord which gets connected to 15 Amp Switch is not accompanied but I would suggest get the same from local market (Rs.85/mtrs of polycab) before technician visits you can save some money.. the wire which goes to PCB in the outdoor unit comes with the package..

Smartthings app is not available for most of the devices I have (Galaxy M21, Galaxy M11 , Galaxy Tab A8.0, Galaxy J MAX)
It is only supported in galaxy J7 . I have already booked the ac but just now I checked Smartthings on playstore which is unavailable. Is there any other way of using this ac with smartphone
Ideally this should not happen as its available for Android devices... But still we can do 1 thing.. Just download apk file from Google and try to install... I'm sure this would work.. Let me know what happens..

How much did you pay?
I paid around 48000 for the model with wifi and then I received a cashback of Rs 8000 so 40000 but this was including 5 years ResQ service so in 40k even my AC is covered with Service.. So was a good deal.. But don't get confused with the similar model that samsung has.. The other model does not have a wifi and this one has..

I have purchased AR18AY4YATZ (4star) model last 1month ago. I have a confusion, Which is best for power saving: Automatic mode or Convertable mode; means 40%, 60%, 80%?
Hi... If you are alone in the room you can use 40%...this means your AC will consume only 40%....But remember in AI mode the power is consumed is 100%.. So what do I generally do.. I cool the room using AI till 24 degree and keep it at power saver of 40% the whole night.. So the consumption is in limit or else the bills that we get would be on a very higher side..

Just go with Auto mode till your temperature is 24 degree then you can keep it to 40% thats more than sufficient.. Refer to my latest video on what all features in remote are..

Yes its definitely a good deal... But be careful with that as there is a same identical AC with same design and same features at 36000 but it doesn't have a Wifi.. So dont go with the design of AC just note down the model number and the purchase..

I got a cashback of 15% via HDFC Credit card there was a offer at Reliance digital.. They said me installation is not free and they would charge 1100 officially... But he adjusted the amount in my AC as he bargained and brought the AC cost by 1200

@@TechKnowGyanHub My ac has been delivered they will do installation on 10th. Please let me know. This is my 1st AC and I dont even have a switch for an AC. Should I ask then to do it or should I ask general electrician to make a connection board ?
They will charge you very high.. Just decide a place where you would place your indoor and outdoor unit.. Make sure both distance is very less.. You will need a 15Amp Plug and a switch for AC... Get it before they visit.. Their charges are triple.. Tell them your family own a hardware shop so why should I get materials from you..I'll upload a video in the evening.. At least till then you do this things done..

Who many units consuption in 8 hours
I often use it for 3 to 4 hrs only as at night it feels very chilling even at 24 degrees.. But as compared to the other AC this wont consume much power.. You can get all the details from smart things.. And as per that App my usage for 15 days was of 190 odd rupees.. And i used for 3 to 4 hrs at night.. So u can calculate approx.. However I'm yet to receive the official Adani Electric bill to compare.. Lets see how correct is this app in terms of measuring accuracy..

Yeh shayad saare AC me hota hoga par isme thoda sa noise jyada hai... Aur 2nd remote me backlight option nai hai.. Jaise Diakin k AC me hota hai.. Sirf yeh do k alava muje abhi tak koi aisa problem face karna nai pada

This AC which I bought is from Reliance Digital only.. If you go there just bargain tightly they will sell it cheaper and won't let you go.. Don't forget to take their 5 Yrs ResQ plan as AC needs service... They also have offers on cards, I got this one for almost 8000 off using HDFC Card on no cost EMI...
