Died alone and in debt in an apartment in Spain, what a tragic end for this unique talent. He was huge in the UK during the 70's and 80's: laugh out loud funny, completely unpredictable on stage and a great singing voice as well.
And well into the 90's I have very fond memories of watching him on the Tele during the the early and mid 90's WELL into reruns into the early 00's. Well missed and sadly tared with the same brush as saville. Even though saville was a dirty nonce, Freddie starr wasn't.
Absolute genius. Reminds me of the good days when tv was at its best. 25 million viewers not the 2.5 million TV gets now. The rubbish, glory hunting love island big brother etc etc crap we have now is embarrassing. These two together were Absolute gold. Rip lads.
i agree with you...todays stuff is a boreing as a two hour sunak debate...this would not be allowed now...why?.....because the jobsworths will only let broadcast....if you say the "F" word or anything connected with American culture....god help us
How many people can honestly remember the last time any one on tele made them laugh as much these 2 together was just class we've got a very unhappy future ahead. RIP❤️🙏
Can you imagine these two entertaining God in heaven, the whole place must be in an uproar. Rip to you both. Best wishes to both families ❣️. The world is poorer without them
@@jasonandlynnechambers3420 I was talking about, Dez O'Conner and Freddy star. Both incredible comedians in there own right, but put them together and you have complete mayhem.. I was imagining them in heaven entertaining God and the angel's.

Two entertainers who had a completely different style but had great respect for each other and actively bounced off each other. We have all seen the friendships that shouldn't work but do. I.e: the sensible person is best mates with a crazy person.😂
Force of nature is an understatement for Freddie. He was a brilliant physical comedian, as well as verbal. His sketches where he tried to sing with a 'faulty' mike always have me in stitches. And yet, at no time, ever, was he nasty or patronising to either his host or audience. Some of today's 'comedians' should take note....
Freddie was like Spike Milligan, so unpredictable. You could tell he inspired nervousness in those surrounding him because you never knew what he would do next! 😁
Freddie Starr was unique. There is and was only one man who could do many different things and was naturally funny. He didn't deserve an awful last few years. Shame. Love and miss you Freddie. Always. Xxxxx
Poor Freddie, he certainly was a funny guy, my wife and I seen a show of his in Edinburgh’s Playhouse Theatre, it was hilarious, before his troubles became public. RIP Freddie. 🙏👍🏴
Awwww... It feels like it was last week this ... Miss these guys.. Two Ronnie's Morecambe and Wise, Cannon And Ball and Little And Large I loved the 80s
Freddy only had to look at the camera to crack me up. Unhinged and unpredictable, you never knew or could predict what he he was going to say or do next. People in the audience were very nervous because of this, but it’s what made him so hugely popular.
These so called comedians of today ought to watch ppl like Freddie REAL comedians who know how to make p laugh sadly the snowflakes have arrived boring as s@@@
Hounded by the media to the point of no return Freddie Starr uspset a lot of celebrity's and fellow entertainers during his career.all due to his wild antics.but he was a complete comedy genius the likes of which we will never see again.why is there no statue or plaque to celebrate his life.because he was as I said hounded to death by the press and police in operation yew tree.found not guilty of the charges against him.and allowed to die alone

Someone said that the allegations he faced ruined him completely. I don’t know if that’s true or not.
A British funeral director paid to have his body brought back to the U.K from spain
Because the left hate people like freddy and tarnish them . he is an English legend and should be regarded as one
