My beautiful dad died recently and I remember me and my dad back in the day laughing so much at this guy,. Life just flies by. I miss my dad and the times with him. Freddie used to have my dad holding his stomach in laughter. Genius comedian
He was an absolute genius with his Elvis songs , he was always bang on with his voice. 75 now and had lots of issues off stage that have all but destroyed him with his wife leaving . He will always be in my fond memories when i was younger.
This man was a complete Genius the best ever both me and my wife would travel to anywhere in the United Kingdom to see His show he was just in a different class to any one else R I P Greatest 🙏🙏👍
Freddy, the public loves you and thank you for entertaining us over the years. Forget those who tried to destroy you and remember the love of the public. You are a legend!
He was an absolutely deranged lovable man with a twist of genius and heaps of talent, after he was made the mould was broken, he really was a one off character, bless his soul and may he forever rest in peace.
He was hilarious a genius of comedy and a great singer and mimic .Gone but not forgotten especially when he was on Parkinson and Tom o Connor shows. Chaos.❤
In that last clip he held the great Mohammed Ali absolutely spellbound. Unbelievable talent. His humour sadly would not be accepted nowadays but no doubt he was a top notch comic right down to his tippy toes. Rest peacefully Freddie.
Good old Freddie, he was a one off multi talented genius of a comedian. When I see what passes for comedy today, it makes me realise that he probably never got the true recognition he deserved. Thank you for the laughs Freddie & Farewell.👍
Watched him for years as a young man who is now a grief stricken older man. But I am remembering the happiness of Freddie. Good night.god bless Freddie you're still number 1.
I saw Freddie, at the circus tavern, in Essex circa 78. He came on stage, and for 15 minutes, never said a word. He had the audience in absolute stitches. A true comic genius.
@@linenlacepatchwork it's so rare nowadays that someone can walk on and people be laughing instantly. Freddie Starr, Lee evans, Tommy Cooper all had that instant hilarity because you just don't know what they'll do
Apparently it still is - glad to some history still alive! Freddie was a brilliant mimic and singer obviously - ruined by the tabloids but would’ve been crucified by the current MSM as we know them now.. RIP mate
Still watching Freddie in Sept 2019 and love him his humour is amazing and all that crap about him was horrible and eventually killed him... he looked so battered at the end... hopefully his humour will always live on ❤
What a crying shame! I really missed his shows when I came to Australia. I didn't even think of UA-cam l can watch you now Freddie. Make them laugh up there.
What can you say about Freddie ,!he a Starr ,don't care what the media say ,you are the BEST , ,long life and keep your peck up , keep sunny side up , best comic I have ever seen live ,sadly miss on stage, come on Fred ! Let get back the old days , stop ,get a tan ,and start working again ,
alan cornelious I was brought up living 2doors away from Freddy and his family. What was it like??? ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL!!! He was so naughty but we couldn't help laughing with him. A GREAT childhood made so much more memorable by Freddy the Great!
One of the best the 70s were so good and this shit pc country we live in now does not make me proud anymore no one has a sence of humor anymore love it when he does mick jagger.loved life then
I'm so pleased I seen him live in the 90's front row. First and only time I have ever been in pain from laughing so much! There will never be another like Freddie starr.
I seem to remember he was always on the telly on New Years Eve because I'd get put down for a sleep since it'd be a long night visiting family etc...I'd get woke up just before Freddy came on the tv and I'd literally be rolling around on the floor with laughter. Best times!!
Saw Freddy Star.for the first time a few months ago in a clip with Muhammed Ali. I've sinced looked up and watched numerous video's of him and have concluded that, to me anyway, he was one of the greatest and most talented entertainers I've ever had the pleasure of watching .
he was banned from live tv because no one knew what he was going to do. boy was he was fuckin' funny guy. my sister saw him live back in the 80's and said he was even funnier live than on tv!
Whenever i was feeling like a laugh i would play a video of Freddie Starr. He was the best comedian ever. A fantastic impersonator. Extremely sadden to hear he had passed away.
I've never watched him. But thought I would take a look for a while. My god was acomedian? Is dancing around the stage trying to imitate singers. Benny hill was funny. The peodo ain't
In 2019 last week I just happen to run across a video of Freddie Starr, of whom I had never heard until that moment. I was immediately impressed with his stage presence and his talent and I am so sorry to learn of his passing and the scandalous stories that were rampant just prior to his death. I adore comedy and I adore clever comedy which was Freddie's Forte. I regret that I was young and unaware of many things in my younger days one of them being the comedy and stylings and immense talent. Freddie Starr. Rest easy, great man. Respects to you for the laughs you gave me when I discovered you just recently and all the joy you gave to so many; all the years before.

I saw Freddie at the Magnum Leisure Centre in Irvine in the early eighties. I laughed so much I could hardly sit up straight in my seat. Today's comedians couldn't hold a candle to performers of days gone by. Far too much PC.
I was raised on Freddie Starr, Rising Damp, Steptoe and Son and Love thy Neighbour. No PC. Just good fun, lots of laughs and good memories. Love Ali, love Freddie.
