This commentary is a bit misleading . . . Saying that Kate Douglass got bumped up to silver is not accurate. Based on live action results prior to DQ, Summer and Kate had already finished first and second. Without the DQ, Alex Walsh would have gotten the bronze. Fourth place finisher was “bumped” up to the bronze, when Walsh was removed from the podium.
Its sad and ive done exact same transition from back to breast and i got dqued . That illegal turn has been a rule for over 20yrs in competitive swimming.
