What a wonderful gift these interviews are for swimming fans! We get to hear occasional gasping post-race questions answered and sometimes discussions about training but never (until now) get to know the person behind the medals. Thank you, Katie and Missy! Your approach to interviewing is fantastic! Honestly, I would LOVE to hear the 2 of you interviewing each other! You both have amazing stories to tell that we could all learn from, without all the media hype distorting things.

What Alex mentioned about therapy was much needed to hear, I truly enjoy every one of your podcast interviews!! They are awesome- so refreshing and inspiring. And I get to know these Olympians’ lives in a more personal and deeper way.

❤ post PS- just realized this is, in fact, the podcast channel. wow, maybe you ladies should change that music before people completely lose their minds. i am going to go take a time out and try to recompose myself, then return to finish the interview :)

These are supposed to be Olympic Medalists who represent the United States in international competition, and yet they spend the entire time laughing, and nothing is funny. Also, just how many times can they say the word, "like" in a one-hour program. If Missy has a problem with Team USA being correctly called out for not winning Gold Medals at Worlds than she can let someone else have those spots on the team who are actually going to win instead of accepting less than their best. Swimmers often talk about going best times, but that's just it: They don't win, and they don't go best times, usually slower than World Team Trials.
