How does the savespot at the first attack of the level 5 boss work? Just dont move or do you have to be at a specific spot on the bottom of the screen?

III is much better than IV though, it's IV that introduces rough edges. Looping *and* the game wasn't even finished, worthless towers and Micluses that you have to go out of your way for, charge shot, multiple slightly different characters and the stupid purple choice, etc. What IV improves, and the only things actually wrong with III, are that IV has better music beyond stage 3 and that IV fixed the R bug.

Most of DFKBL's difficulty can be bypassed entirely, and Mushi is only hard on Ultra mode. This video is simple survival on the closest thing to a "normal" mode Raiden IV has. Maybe you should try playing it.

Because there is no need to? The hitbox in this game is actually fairly tiny and the best way to dodge is just micro dodging right next to the bullet. Also enemies in Raiden tends to predict your movement instead of simply firing a bullet on your current location. So if you push a single direction for too long you actually have much higher chances to ram into some well timed bullets.
Saw this game for the switch crazy how it has a following like this . It’s like a boring phone game. Reminds me of Everwing on Facebook lol gross sure the music hits here and there. Easy pass

The actual player hitbox is MUCH smaller than the player sprite.
This is a standard in Bullet Hell shooters.
